Excellent product
Excellent quality. My cat is on the large side - weighs over 5k - and had not been used to wearing a collar. He is a rescue stray cat from IBIZA. First collar with the easy-release mechanism proved useless as he burst out of it like Rambo. So I purchased this collar that fastens with a buckle and is elasticated for easy release. So far he has not burst out of it or lost it in a tree somewhere. Have just ordered another as a spare in case he loses the other one.

Superb Cat Collar
We've been buying these for years. I tend to buy a few at a time, so that if he loses one or they just get old, i can easily and quickly replace it. I don't like fixed collars with a snap mechanism, our cat carries two tracker units on him and I think the snap one's are too easily snapped open and we'd be hunting down the trackers in a bush. These are elastic. You simply do them up tight, but with room to slip two fingers between the neck and collar. That means the collar will stretch even further, if it were to get caught on a branch or something and slip over the cats head. Having the flex must also make it more comfortable for him to wear, as it doesn't have to be tight on him. In fact, our cat is now so comfortable with it, that I can remove it and put it back on him, while he's in the middle of eating. It simply doesn't bother him, even with the weight of two trackers. One is a GPS tracker, the other a radio tracker. Both are superb. The GPS to know where he goes, where he's likely to be, the radio one for a more precise find, when you need to find him.

Brilliant collar, just a bit too long.
Great collar, but a bit too long for my 4kg shorthair cat. Her neck is obviously a bit too small for this collar so I've had to trim it to avoid the ends getting dirty. She also loves to kick/scratch her neck so the collar already looks frayed only a few weeks of wearing it. But these collars with the buckles are the only ones that seem to last on my cats. They don't ever lose them and they don't mind the bells, so they're good value to money. I just have to replace them every 6 months to a year when they start to look tatty. They seem to fit my longhair 6kg cat a bit better than the small one, but the excess collar just gets hidden in his fur. The collar is a lot less scruffy on him too because it's so buried under his fur. Both don't mind the collars and I think the jingle might help the little creatures outside possibly escape from the cats' grasp.

Great for the money!
So... our 18month old cat has decided to turn "killer" and therefore we had to get him fitted with an "early warning" system for the benefit of the local wildlife! The bell is super loud on this! (We can hear him approaching a mile off!!) He also took to it surprisingly well? He normally hates anything on him, even giving him his flea treatment on the back of his neck results in chasing him to get it on him (he knows as soon as he sees the capsule), followed by half an hour of sulking after you apply it, so we were expecting a bit of fuss around the collar!.... But no!.... On it went, and so did MIlo (aka "tinkerbell"... "Mr bojangles"... and "noddy"..... google that one if you're not old enough!). Collar is nice and stretchy, so if he needed to wiggle out of it he could, but he's happy with it and so far so good on the mousing and bird front!

Great collar
These collars are great because: - They have proper buckles, not the so-called safety buckles that other collars have. Those other ones come off and get lost almost immediately (or so it seems - losing the name tags you might have paid quite a lot for as well, of course. No wonder the retailers and manufacturers love them so much - more sales for them.) - They are all elastic so will slip off if your cat's in real trouble. - They are long, big enough for the largest of cats. - The little white bits in diagonal lines don't show up much in daylight but they do reflect lights (eg car headlights) in the dark. - The cats seem to find them comfortable. - Looks-wise, they are really quite discreet on a dark-furred cat. (And if you want them to be discreet sound-wise, take the loud bell off! I make mine suffer the indignity of the bell in the hope that it might warn off the odd bird or two.) - They are very reasonably priced - free shipping, too. I bought some extra collars for reserves and when those are gone I hope this item is still available to purchase again.

Nice collar.
Nice collar quite stable and easily adjusted not quick release stability good enough seems comfortable on kitty and colour nice and also reflective bell ok but she's still catching the odd bird but not like before stability ok and no quick release but quite stretchy and a bit big for a younger cat with skinny neck came on time and well packed would recommend.

Lovely, no issues
I did have to remove the cascabel, too noisy.
