I bought a second hand car which has the old-style key that does not fold away into its fob. This key-sheath keeps the key clean and prevents it from digging holes in the lining of your trouser pocket.

If you know anything about physical security, you'll know that if anyone takes a picture of your key they basically have everything they need to create their own and bypass your lock. I use these as key covers so that right up until I intend to use my key it's impossible to take a picture of it without taking it from me.If this is a concern to you, these are fantastic at it. Really snug, stops the new keys scratching other items or wrecking my pocket lining. Expensive but useful.
