2To4 4 Gang double socket surge protected plug in adaptor. (all switched)

Quite honestly, how excited can one be over a two to four way socket?It does what it says on the tin. Respect the dimensions in case of any adjacent services (telephone sockets, TV sockets, etc).Plugs in and supports itself quite well. Mine doesn't stay exactly flush to the wall with a small air gap (approx 1 mm).Protrudes from the wall as expected.In general and keeping in mind the price (far cheaper than paying for a sparky) and the reduced stress factor of DIY (no chasing the wall to fit additional sockets) this is good value for money.

So far - so good, does exactly what it is supposed to do. A bit tricky to install until I realised that a screw on the back of this 4 gang plug needed to be unscrewed. Seems to be a decent quality plastic, and sturdy enough. Although I don't think it would stand up to plugs being pulled in and out all the time - which is why each socket has its own individual switch.

The fastest service ever! I have been using amazon for years and must say this seller (Went Vale Electrical Ltd) beats everyone hand down for how quick this item arrived. Anyway the item itself is good and very easy to set up, it just fits over a 2 gang plug and turns it into a 4. These is a little green/red light to let you know everything is work. It much better looking than those adaptors that hang down from the plus. I am using this under my tv unit so it is seen all the time

I suspect these are really great, and I love the idea, so I'm reluctant to make a judgement on the number of stars. Unfortunately they don't work with my fancy very flat metal switch plates, so if you are considering these you will need to be aware of how the product is constructed before buying.

saved me having to put another socket in, used for TV, DVD, Sattelite etc little bit fiddly on the adjustment screw to get a good fit, but worth spending a few mins over as when its right its good

Big, bulky and ugly, not very good. I was not impressed as to how this adaptor fitted into the double socket, it just refused to push back to the wall at the false-plug end, leaving it hanging loose at that end. Believe me I tried it in several sockets within the house. I can not recommend this product.

These are brilliant, they use both sockets that it converts to four, one for the electrical, the second to secure the socket better. The four-way socket fits flush to the wall on the type of wall socket that I have.
