Put this on my oven, looks smart and the silver plastic matches the silver on my oven. Stuck on solidly. Lock is stiff enough to stop my son, but quick and easy for me to twist on and off when I’m using the oven.

These are very tacky in real life. They look very cheap. They look like brushed stainless in the picture but they're actually plastic and look cheap.They also didn't fit on my oven..couldn't put it on the top oven as the knobs are in the way and couldn't put it on the bottom oven as I wouldn't be able to open the top oven so a waste of money.

I’ve had this on my oven for a little under 2 months. It served its purpose to prevent the little one from opening the oven however, after a few attempts to open the lever it snapped off so now I’m left with the base still firmly stuck to the oven but no lever to keep the door closed :(

In terms of doing what it is supposed to do (keeping the oven door shut) it seems to be effective - only time will tell whether it triumphs over an inquisitive toddler in the long term!However, it does appear to be shoddily made - despite being new out the packet the plastic on mine was scratched and the colouring inconsistent. It is not particular smooth to swivel, and the plastic ‘lock’ which keeps it either open or closed gets stuck frequently (making it difficult to use) and looks as though it will snap off quite easily. For this reason unfortunately I would not recommend this item.

This product does exactly what is says, and is mich stronger than it looks! I was concerned that it would not withstand my toddler, who pulls against the oven handle with all his might, but after 5 months the oven lock is holding strong.

I was a bit concerned when I ordered it but it works very well. Only things is that you need to make sure there is enough flat surface on your over to be able to install it.

Seriously i wouldn't... It is definitely silver, and so far heat resistant but not child resistant. Stuck it on fine, a day later used the oven, my son tugged at the door it fell straight off/. Looking for something a bit more sturdy i would not recommend this if your kids are tenacious.

Been on the oven 6 months and little used needed from it. Still it has broken and snapped in places so now it does not lock into place.
