Not used these yet but had Avid pads before. Good quality, come with the spacer pin.Note: This is 1 pair of pads for 1 brake unit. You'll need to buy 2 of this item if your replacing the brakes on front and rear wheels.

Didnt take long to bed in, but quite pricey for only 1 set of pads.Ordered 2 sets. One came with the spreader spring and one did not.Make sure you dont throw out any old springs in case these don't come with any.

an original product and they do appear to be worth a couple of extra pounds to the cheaper brands - only a casual observation but the braking material seems to be thicker than the cheaper brands.the pricing is about in the middle between cheap rebrands and competition products.

these original Avid BB5 pads are worth the slight premium in price,They perform well and stop well in the wet, but do need bedding in, like all disc pads even car ones.once bedded in they stop a steel framed bike with loaded Panniers easily, that was going down hill in the wet, what more can you ask,

I can confirm that once installing these pads into my bikes break callipers, pulling the break leavers makes my bike stop as quick as expected. Just want I wanted from them.

Work well and stop better than the originals. Fairly easy to fit with a little bit of fiddling.

Exactly like for like but no grip at all. Had to sand the top off to get any bite.

I've installed them and they work great. I use some brake cleaner I purchased on Amazon and they are pretty quiet and stop well. No issues.

Installed these on my Rocky Mountain Fusion. Took less than 10 minutes to install. They work perfectly. A little more expensive than others but exactly like what was installed before and the quality seems good. Very pleased with my purchase. Would recommend! Thank you

Die Bremsbeläge haben super in die Avid BB5 gepasst! Die Beläge haben verglichen mit einem günstigeren Alternativ-Produkt bessere Bremswirkung und haben super in die Bremszange hinein gepasst.. Die Montage bzw. der Austausch der Beläge war einfacher als ich ursprünglich gedacht habe.Bevor ich den Tausch der Beläge selbst in die Hand genommen habe, wurde ich von drei Fahrradgeschäften abgewiesen, als ich meine Bremswirkung verbessern lassen wollte. Es kamen Absagen von "wir haben keine Ersatzteile" bis "sie müssen sich eine komplett neue Bremsanlage montieren lassen".Auf die Idee dass die Bremsbeläge einfach nur abgenutzt sind, kam wohl keiner - oder es erschien denen allen nicht lukrativ - was auch schade wäre. Neue E-Bikes verkaufen macht den Händlern / Zweiradmechanikern mit Verkaufsaffinität... wohl mehr Spaß als Bremsbeläge tauschen.
