Good value for money
I am using this pop up in an island in my kitchen. It is very useful, sturdy and does the job perfectly

Good replacement for Evoline at a fraction of the price
I had an Evoline socket that needed replaced. They retail at £200 so I was pleased to get this as an alternative for £39.99. Very easy to fit and looks good.

Practical and looks good.
I'm using this product to plug in a nearby transformer (see photo) that converts 220/240VAC to 110VAC as I have some power hand tools that I bought in the States. I opted to drill the hole in the countertop with a drill (to make reference holes) and jigsaw, finishing with a chisel. There was no point buying a thick 102mm hole saw for one project. You can use one of the plastic support nuts as a guide to the hole. Once you have the hole completed, it's just a matter of pushing it through, tightening the nuts by hand, and plugging it in. Nice green light when it's on. I would have given this five stars, but the mechanism itself is pretty stiff, and you have to lift it out by the top plate which is connected to the main unit by plastic. I used some WD-40 silicone spray on it, but it's still pretty stiff. My guess is that unless you lift it out slowly and carefully, the plastic will break and the top will come off, rendering it more-or-less useless. (I think another reviewer has discovered this.) But for about £30.00, it's worth it, and it should last as long as I'm careful with it. Looks good when retracted--that's real metal, not plastic.

Useful layout and switch on/off at top
Installed in new kitchen last year and not used as much as expected. Really helpful to have usb ports at the bottom as mobile phones don't then hang when charging, like our wall power sockets. When kitchen gets used with more family this pop up socket will become more useful for all the gadgets to use and charge.Kitchen installer put it in for us, and we had to make sure we could get it out and repair/replace from underneath. It also needed screwing in from below once work surface installed so really important to have access. The top looks ok but feels like It could get scratched easily. It pops up about an inch so you can pull the rest of it up, to whatever point you want. The switch is useful so if there is any water on your surface you can isolate this socket.

So far so good!
Bought this a couple of months ago and it was installed into our new kitchen a month or so ago. I was slightly sceptical of its quality due to such a reasonable price but I am writing a review to confirm how pleased I am with the product. Works very well, have had no issues and was easy to be installed. also easy to keep the top clean - doesn't seem plasticy, and product seems sturdy. Thank you!

Ideal item for streamlined look
Bought these to be recessed in cupboards in our newly fitted kitchen. Whilst they are larger in circumference that those that we saw in local hardware shops, they are much better value overall. Our fitters had no issues putting them in and they've worked fine since installation. The pop down mechanism works great, so valuable having the 2 USB ports available & would definitely recommend this item.

Great value
I purchased these and I’m glad I did!! Look super modern and a great way to hide ugly wall sockets if you want clean lines-only down side is(if there is one) is that they pop up to release but you have to pull up for the whole tower to be exposed-I didn’t realise this when buying but once you get your head around that it’s all good..
