This is heavy and well made, very adjustable. Real bamboo not laminated. Also under the skits that hold your devices has a very nice discreet gold metal plating that I discovered nearly 2 weeks later. Collapsible and versatile. I highly recommend. Price point is fair.

This is a well-made lap desk (with one exception that I will mention later), it's very sturdy, as plenty of spread-out room (and I am a large person) and for the most part was well thought out. The sturdy part comes into play because I have a big male cat that thinks this lap desk is his personal bed. I don't worry about it breaking with him (he weighs a good 12 to 15 pounds). The only thing I have against this product is the drawer. It's useless. nothing fits in it (pen, small tv remote) and it doesn't stay closed when you are through with the desk so anything you put in it falls out. It was a nice thought but is totally useless. And it broke the second day I used the desk (I had it open trying to see if the remote would fit and the cat used the open drawer as a step). I am not going to knock off any stars for the drawer. But if the company ever decided to do a redesign, they need to either ditch the drawer or make it big enough to fit a tv remote and a way to latch the drawer to keep it closed.All that being said, I am really happy with this lap desk, and I used it nearly every day.

So I love this bed desk it’s beautiful. Two things. When it got to me the face on the draw had come loose and almost popped off no big deal some wood glue and two clamps and we are all set. Also my family has been adding a hook to the bottoms of the drawers to keep them in place when we travel. This is still one of the best desiring have come across and will buy again or recommend if someone has a need for sure!

I've had this table for almost two months, and I love it. I use it as a desk in bed. I looked at many similar products on Amazon, and they all had some concerning 1-star reviews about arriving damaged or being wobbly or collapsing, etc. I took a chance on this item and I haven't had any trouble. There's a minor imperfection in the wood on the underside, but that's fine. And anything with foldable and height-adjustable legs isn't going to be 100% sturdy, but it's definitely sturdy enough for my needs. I wouldn't put a cup of coffee next to my computer on this thing, because a bed is not a steady surface to begin with. But I bet it would be fine if I wanted to use it for breakfast in bed, if I were careful.I've attached a couple photos to show the size and the amount of leg room. The first photo shows the highest height setting and the second shows the lowest. I'm a small person, at 5'6" and 120 lbs, but there's plenty of extra space for a bigger person at the highest setting. I can cross my legs under it, but that feels a little bit cramped. If I want to cross my legs, it's not uncomfortable to have the table in front of me instead of over my lap.I think that's all I wanted to share. I originally bought this as a stand up conversion for my home office desk and use it around the house. It is very sturdy, well constructed, and has some great features to keep it from closing in on itself or tipping over. The integrated cell phone/tablet slot is very useful along with the slide out storage drawer, though i wish it was a little bigger/deeper for more capacity but it works great to store small items. It is big enough to fit a 80% keyboard, a wrist pad for it and a mouse but it's a squeeze to add in a mousepad. Overall I'm really happy with the table tray, it's very functional and looks really nice on my desk or just about anywhere around the house. Excellent recommendation to have in your home.
