Trico - Aquapel Window Cleaner (47112)

One day a number of years ago I was at a car wash and I asked what they used. "Aquapel" I've never gone to a car wash since and used this and their glass capsules ever since. I always have some of their glass treatment capsules on hand. I use it everywhere on the car and use this first. This cleaner gets everything off and the treatment is unsurpassed. I received nothing from anyone to write this review.

This stuff is the best glass and surface cleaner I have ever used. It is better than the product description. I made the mistake of only buying one can on my first order. Now I buy 2 - 3 per order. I keep 1 in each car, and 1 in the kitchen to clean eyeglasses and mirrors. On cars it work in harmony with the Aquapel glass coating to shed water without the use of wipers. The cleaner is safe to use on the coating and prolongs the life of the coating. The only issue I have with this product is when I tell my fellow motorheads about it they take my can and then I have to do without until the next shipment arrives. Also works great on expensive wheels that require TLC to remove brake dust and grime.

I was skeptical - but searching for a better glass cleaner, (hopefully one better than ole' reliable "Windex" - which isn't too bad at removing tough dirt - like bugs, droppings, and other windshield taboos.There are of course a few other hi-tech solutions that have promise at a premium price, but nothing earth-shattering has grabbed my attention as the "cleans it all" over the past couple years.Well - this Aquapel is serious stuff. When just used sparingly, it not only foams up to wipe clean any dirt instantly, it almost dries spotless on your first pass - and without streaking, smudging, or dripping.It worked so good on my windows, gauge lenses, and windshield glass, that I even tried it on my new 55" LED/LCD TV! YES I DID! AND I want you to know it worked beautifully.No more grand daughter fingerprint smudges, dust, swirls, NOTHING BUT SHINE! And "yes" I was a bit leery using it on a 3D HDTV, but it didn't do anything negative to the coatings, I used it sparingly and carefully (and "no" I won't replace yours if you try it and claim it messed it up). Now let's wrap this review up.I wanted to try their glass treatment as well but I'm not into wipes when I can get a spray-on application and Amazon didn't have a good "Prime" package on it either.... so I bought another brand - which seems to work great.So I would say that the folks that make Aquapel obviously know how to clean glass - and if you are hunting for the perfect glass cleaner, you might want to consider this. I can honestly say that I am sold.

Aside of being a safety issue I enjoy my driving much more if everything is working right, including clean windows. This product is most positively superior to the standard windex and windex type sprays. It really does a better job with less effort. It is simply a superior product and will give you a noticeably cleaner windshield and windows. No one loves to clean windows (no one that I know, at least) and this gets the job done quicker and better. Works great on cleaning your windshield wipers thus improving their operation. I've used it with newspapers, paper towels and with rags. I get best results with either newspapers or paper towels. Order extra cans, you'll be glad you did.

This was recommended to me for my new civic that does not have heated mirrors to help with the fogging problem. I used all winter and did not notice any improvement with the mirrors. Nor did it last for the advertised 6 months, more like 2 before I had to reapply. However, I jdid see a huge improvement over Rain-X which always left a streaky film on my windshield. I recommend the aerosol can over the small packs that do not provide enough coverage for all my windows.

I have been using the aqua-pel glass treatment for years.I purchased this glass cleaner since the aqua-pel glass treatment works so well. WOW ... This stuff is the best glass cleaner I have ever used. And for the first time in many years I have retired what I was using.If you are looking for another glass cleaner or just want to try something different. Give this glass cleaner a try ... my guess is that you will sold on how the product works.....

Wow, just Wow! For when you absolutely must have 100% clean glass, this is your cleaner.Use for our cars to great results. One application and wipe with microfiber cloth and no dirt, residue, or streaks.Use before applying any glass sealant for the car, like full Aquapel treatment. Used to also clean my windshield wipers and they're now like new.Hint, use very sparingly. Spray foams up a lot. One small spray covers your entire windshield. First cleaning, do one small spray per side. No reason why this one can won't last for over 6 months for two cars during regular washing.

I used this with the Aquapel treatment. Spoiler alert: Be absolutely sure you wipe off the windows immediately after using the treatment. Otherwise it will streak and stay there, no amount of scrubbing (or acetone or alcohol) will lessen it. Do not under any circumstances let it dry or use it in the sun. It does wear away with time, but until then you will have streaks
