Magnetic Continuity with iPhone 13
I wanted to use Apple‘s new Continuity feature with my Mac mini and my monitor. Of course the majority of the items out there are four laptops. This was the perfect solution to allow me to use the feature with my LG monitor. It works perfectly. I can even tilt my phone to get the perfect angle if necessary, and use the desktop feature of Apple‘s continuity software. This was an inexpensive attachment that I didn’t have to shell out large sums of money for, well worth it! Yes, it does work with your iPhone MagSafe case. I didn’t need their extra attachment for my phone.

Good for Continuity Camera on MacOS
This solved my problem of using Mac’s new Continuity Camera feature on an external monitor that doesn’t come with a webcam. My monitor is weird, it doesn’t have a perfectly flat surface on the back to mount this holder, but it managed to attach securely anyway. It’s simple to attach my phone, with a nice amount of adjustment, and has an appropriate magnet for MagSafe on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The attachment feels secure. One small limitation of this design, the camera can’t tilt upward when in continuity orientation. This isn’t a problem for my usage but should be kept in mind if you need more articulation.

Work for continuity camera for monitor
This work great for my iPhone and I have the option of rotating and flipping the phone to use for the back camera or flipping it forward so that the screen shows.

Mount is too heavy! Falls off! Adhesive leaves marks on MacBook body.
I bought this product as an alternative to the Belkin brand iPhone continuity camera mount. In my experience, I have encountered several issues (which, in part, could be contributed to the misleading nature of the product's description):1. Firstoff, this mount device has an adhesive sticker on the back of it to stick to the back of the computer. It falls off way too easily due to the heaviness of itself AND the weight of the iPhone.2. This weight causes my entire computer screen to retract backwards or lift up off of the desk with the phone falling.3. what may be MORE irritating though, is the fact that the sticker adhesive leaves awful marks on the back of my computer, which I have yet to figure out how to scrape off.Clearly, this product was NOT well thought out in its design. I will be getting the Belkin mount instead, and do recommend that others do the same.I had faith in this product, but it appears to have been a total disgrace.

OK, not great (too permanent, weak swivel for iPhone 14 Pro)
First the pros:Pro 1: I'm super impressed with the strength of the magnet. It holds my phone VERY well, both with and without the phone's (MagSafe) case. The 3M sticky base also adheres super well to the back of my MacBook—specifically, to the hardshell case protecting the computer's lid.Pro 2: This mount does its basic job fairly well (though phone weight could be an issue—see below). I was able to position the mount such that my phone's camera hovers just above the built-in webcam, keeping my image centered. I like that I can rotate the phone between the rear camera-side and the screen side. While I haven't been able to figure out how to use the selfie camera as the source for macOS's Continuity Camera feature, it's really great to be able to see what's on my phone while working on my computer as well. Now, the cons:Con 1: One of my biggest issues with this product has to do with the basic design concept rather than its execution. The fact that this mount is permanently connected to my laptop is a problem for someone like me who uses multiple MacBooks (personal & work), those who alternate between using the laptop on its own and with an external monitor, and those who would just like the flexibility to put the thing away when not in use. Once it's attached to the laptop, thanks to that 3M reliability, you're literally "stuck" with this configuration.Con 2: My other concern has to do with the fact that my iPhone 14 Pro (the smaller one) with its MagSafe leader case appears to be too heavy for the mount's swivel to hold reliably in place. I'm finding that the phone easily flops out of place as I try to position it, and has been steadily sinking downward as I type this review. It's a bit better when I take the phone out of the case, and certainly better with another family member's "regular" iPhone 14. Given that this item is geared toward those who own the last few years' worth of iPhones, it's important to point out that the 14 Pro isn't even thes heaviest. Those using a non-pro 12/13/14 would probably be OK, but if you have a Pro (or especially a Pro Max!) you may want to look elsewhere.Overall, I wouldn't necessarily stop at this mount. I haven't tried the Belkin, so I can't make a direct comparison, but with a price difference of just $8 (at the time of this writing), I'd consider giving that brand a shot instead—or going with something completely different like an independent desk stand.

Perfect for Apple iPhone continuity camera!
The media could not be loaded. Works great for Apple continuity camera. Not sure why the other review below says otherwise. The ring magnet can flip around therefore allowing you to get the camera to point at you for zoom meetings. The mount arm is very sturdy and always there making it super convenient. Amazing product!
