If your budgie is continuously ill try my method of changing your birds food. It will have amazint rezults. Just know your bird
I couldn't ever get my budgie onto harrisons but my budgie was always sick. She suffered from the cold in the room always had a runny nose dioreah and generally unwell. I kept buying guardian angel for her because it would get her over the worst but then she would go back down hill. Then I tried probiotics for her and they worked for a while until she got ill again. So I got fed up for her getting ill. I purchased tops complete food which personally she didn't like.so I tried pretty bird complete because it had many colours. I had to use my nutrition ninja to break the big pieces down and she took streight away to this. So I started adding harrisons to the mix. I was still giving seed and egg food. When she was eating both complete foods I slowly over a week or 2 reduced seed and egg food. Then I reduced pretty bird food. So now just harrisons. I have never had such a healthy bird. You hear it all the time but I can 100% justify that it's true. My Bertie lost so much weight that I could feel her breast bone all the way down. Now 3 weeks of harrisons and the results speak for themselves. Glossy coat. More healthy weight than any of my budgies have ever had. More life and wanting naturally to eat the harrisons. She still let's me know when she wants her daily treat of seed which she eats either out of my hand or in her bath with the full mirrored bottom. By the way that's how u got her started her on complete food putting it in that mirrored bottomed bath.

High quality pellets .
I tried my 3 budgies on Harrisons in the morning and they totally ignored it. So I mixed it with regular feed and they were ok with it. However towards evening time I couldn’t ascertain if the budgies ate some or any of Harrison’s. So I threw out the mix and put 2 teaspoons of Harrison’s in each of the 3 cups just to find out if they were eating the stuff on its own. I was amazed to see them eating the Harrison’s and really enjoying it! Not even a sprig of millet ever made them so excited and the cups were soon emptied. So pleased they are now off the seed and eating this high quality food. Very happy

Fussy cockatiel seems to like it!
It arrived today, and I gave her a little bit to try in her bowl and she seems to like it! She's been fussy with the other pellet food I brought but this one seems to be a hit. The pieces are very small which makes them the perfect size. I'm trying to wean her off a seed based diet and onto a pellet based one. Very clear feeding guide on the back of the packet, I might try this with my canary too.

Very fine
Took ages to arrive had to contact seller . When it did come I found out budgie didn’t like it at all. Maybe because it’s so fine. Almost a powder. Very expensive for the amount in the bag

cannot recommend it enough
Harison''s was recommended to me by my avian vet as my cockatiel was on a seed only diet (despite frivolous attempts to get him to eat anything else... literally anything!!). I phased it into his diet over a week before he was seed free!! He's been reluctant so I was still sprinkling a few seeds in there but since I've stopped that there seems to be no stopping the little fella! It's a little pricier than seeds (the bag says use within a matter of weeks after opening but I've stuck it in the freezer and keep a smaller bag of it in the fridge to make it last longer) but I cannot recommend it enough. He's been far livelier and healthier looking since he's been on Harrison's and I know his chances of living a longer, healthier life have been improved just because of his diet! Problem bird no more!!

UPDATE: If you select the 5lb. bag in Super Fine size, you'll actually receive the larger Fine size. The image shows the Fine, but the size selection says Super Fine. There doesn't appear to be a way to order Super Fine in a more economical 5lb. bag (and it turns out that the company doesn't even offer it!), and I'm really annoyed at not having the food for my birds that I expected to have. One of my six budgies (aka parakeets) was recently sick with a fungal infection for over a month, which causes a lot of weight loss. Although I hadn't had much luck with offering my flock trial amounts now and then of friends' Harrisons' pellets in the Adult Lifetime Fine variety, I figured it was worth the expense to try to get my sick guy to eat some of the High Potency blend, with the extra calories and nutrition, as it could be a factor in his ability to survive the illness and treatment, and I was willing to try just about anything. I got this extra-small pellet size because it's close to the size of millet grains, and started by mixing a little in with the crushed Nutri-berries and with the fruity Zupreem pellets (x-small) he was already eating a bit of, but he didn't seem to be going for it. After a few days I started offering the Harrison's in its own dish alongside the others, and before I knew it, he was frequently choosing it over even his favorite Nutri-berries! So I switched fully to the Harrison's for his pellets and removed the Zupreem at that point. Now, he's fully recovered, and I'm so thrilled! I hadn't had much hope my sweet little guy would make it, and I strongly suspect that these pellets, along with a very warm, clean environment and lots of rest, were instrumental. Several of the other birds have eaten some of the Harrison's too now after seeing him enjoy it. Woohoo! I've just ordered the 5-lb. bag, and plan to do the 6-month regimen with the whole flock, after which I can hopefully transition them to the Adult Lifetime blend. This brand is on the expensive side, but the quality of the organic ingredients and the reduction of waste makes it worth the cost, and probably even less expensive than a cheaper diet in the long term when you factor in vet bills! If your birds won't eat it, try a smaller size; try mixing it with their favorite foods; try leaving a dish of it in the cage in their favorite spot at all times, and only offering their other food for a shorter time morning and evening. I think once you get them to try it, they realize it's good and want to eat it.
