These suited my needs exactly. There were a lot of options out there that included some customization, but none specified what I was looking for. Hopefully, this helps someone that wants to pick their own color combinations, not just presets. Specifically, I wanted green and purple. I had a different set of purple already, so I took a chance thinking I could just set these to green if all else failed. To my surprise, you can choose the colors you want and adjust the shades. You can even choose which bulbs for each color (ie one purple, three green, two purple, etc).The remote has a bunch of preset combos, but you can get really creative in the app. I will say the app is a little finicky and could be more sophisticated, when testing different patterns, or using the sound feature (they’ll flash in the pattern of music), it would give me different colors, so I’m not sure if I’m not figuring out the trick or you just can’t customize both options. In either respect, it has the functions I needed and I finally have a set that I can leave up all year and adjust the colors as needed. They are perfectly bright and you can adjust the individual colors on the wheel to get them to the shades you want (having tried many purple lights that turn out pink, this was a relief).The price is great, so I’ll likely grab additional sets to keep everything consistent. I’m hoping they hold up through the seasons, I will update on durability if I have any issues.

The media could not be loaded. I was first drawn to programmable LED curtains when I saw some Twinkly lights at the store. I was a bit turned off by the reviews and the price though, and sought to find a better one. This one is much cheaper and pretty decent in my opinion, but there are some things you should know before you buy.It's a grid of 20 lights per strand, with 20 strands covering 2m by 2m, though I would say 6ft by 6ft is more accurate. It has an impressive number of presets for each major and even some minor holidays. It also has a few non-holiday presets, a react to music mode (the controller box has a small mic in it), and static RGB lighting. All of this is accessible by the included IR remote. The remote does need direct line of sight to the white bubble blister on the controller box at a short range (about 3 ft?) to operate.It also has a Hello Fairy app you can download and install which has access to all the same functions the remote has, plus the ability to create your own image with simple animation or animated gif type (up to 8 frames), and schedule the lights to turn on or off on a basic schedule per day of the week, kind of like a thermostat schedule. It communicates with the lights via bluetooth, so you have to be somewhat near it to use. The lights remember the schedule and customizations you make after you close the app, until it loses power (unplugging it or turning off the outlet). The app is actually what I'm docking a star for - it could be a bit nicer. It requires precise location information to connect - because nearby bluetooth devices permission depends on it. The schedule is a simple on/off schedule (can set multiple on and off times though), and doesn't take daylight savings into consideration. It doesn't let you set which preset to go with the schedule, nor does it indicate which preset is currently playing.Since I wanted to put this in my bay window, as this is the only large window at the front of my house, I had to make some modifications and concessions to put it up. I remember seeing somewhere that they recommend wrapping it around a curtain bar if you have one - but I strongly recommend against this as it will mess up the spacing of the strands unless you're very precise with the wrapping. Use the included plastic clips, and point the bottom of the T upwards, so the strand goes upwards, and then wrap that around the curtain bar, and through the hook loop to secure it. I also put some wooden dowels I got from home depot and velcro tied two each to stabilize the bottoms of the strands, and to keep the spacing somewhat consistent, and not get caught on the blackout curtains I have. I wrapped each strand in a figure 8 around the two dowels, making sure that there wasn't a LED in the loop. Because of the dimensions of my window, I had to sacrifice the top two rows and bottom 5 rows. They won't be visible outside, but most of the presets are recognizable without them anyway.All in all, well worth the $40 I paid for it.[Update] Got it plugged into a smart plug now to cut its power via alexa - useful when traveling so it won't light up after the holiday is over.

I got these for my son. Of course, he had to try them out immediately, so he quick-hung them with duct tape: unevenly-spaced, not straightened or weighted. Still awesome! We identified every preset image/animation immediately except for one. Every "bulb" worked, all the clips were included, he had no issue downloading the app on his Android phone and it seemed an intuitive interface to him. Now that they're properly set up in his dorm, they're even more stunning. Now, I gotta get a set for me! :)

I loved these lights while they worked. I loved being able to make my own designs for holidays. But unfortunately less than a year into having them I discovered they would not turn on any more.. It just so happens to be that both sets I had no longer decided to light at the same time. Time was just before I was ready to use them for either Thanksgiving or Christmas of 2023.. I have been looking for a way to some how contact the seller and see what resolution we can reach but since its over the time I cant see to find a way to contact the seller about the product..

The range of the remote is not adequate and the lights are not working in mid areas at times.They were fine when we tested but now are on the roof and will be additional work to take out and replace. Seems like they don’t do well with weather

Lights are fantastic colors. I had no problems getting it set up with the app. There are a lot of presets and options for colors on the app. The only fault that I have found is the distance the remote can reach. I hung the lights quite high and initially had to get a step stool to get the remote to turn them on. But thats not an issue once you have the app set up. I love how I can custom set which colors I want for different holidays. They have been up about a month now and still work and look great. They seem like they will be more durable than regular lights as the bulb is kind of encased in a silicone or some sort of resin and attached to the line instead of the kind where you can pop the bulbs in and out. I hope they last a really long time because so far I love them!

We wanted lights to hang for Halloween that we could use for other holidays as well. This is what we were looking for, there are so many different colors you can choose from. I do wish the colors were a little darker. They are also not typical lights where you can plug in a replacement if one goes out, so I’m curious what will happen if one ends up going out. But for now they are working great, and I love that there is an app to customize how they look

Li ho acquistati per illuminare una vetrina di un negozio, collegati alla sua app mi permette di temporizzare l'accensione e lo spegnimento a mio piacere, inoltre si può scegliere il colore, l'intensità, e anche una modalità "scena" dove il faretto crea, in base alla scelta che fate, uno scenario di luci molto gradevoli. È possibile crearne una personalizzata. Leggo che si disconnettono ma sinceramente a me non è mai successo. Le istruzioni sono anche in italiano. Dello stesso marchio ho visto che ci sono molti dispositivi smart per la casa, sicuramente acquisterò altro così da avere tutti i controlli su una sola applicazione. Molto valide.

Ottimo prodotto. Ottimi i led all’interno della lampadina. Mi aspettavo una luminosità leggermente maggiore ma comunque ottima. Facile l’installazione e la configurazione. Quasi automatica la sincronizzazione con i miei dispositivi Alexa. Controllo completo tramite i vari Echo. Nessun problema nella gestione di più dispositivi all’interno dello stesso ambiente.

Assolutamente TOP.Semplici da installare grazie anche al foglietto illustrativo e alla app; molte funzioni, intensità di colore, colori delle luci ed anche la possibilità di utilizzare illuminazione colorata che possa andare a tempo con la musica (effetto DISCO).CONSIGLIATISSIME!!!!!

Buon prodotto quando bisogna configurarne 2 contemporaneamente nello stesso ambiente è un pò complicato, ma alla fine funziona bene anche con alexa

Acquistate e montate in tutta la casa, ma ogni mese purtroppo una salta e incomincia a lampeggiare,Da circa Due Anni che le ho messe ne avrò sostituite almeno una Decina.ASSISTENZA INSESISTENTE , Tra l'altro vedo che sono in molti che si lamentano per lo stesso problema.Altro problema è l'APP che funziona solo su CLOUD, non ha un collegamento diretto con le lampade, quindi se non funziona APP/CLOUD rimani al buio o con ultima configurazione assegnata alle lampadine.Il problema del guasto al wifi non è mai stato preso in considerazione dall'azienda, dato che a due anni che acquisto questi prodotti , sono rimasti sempre gli stessi senza curare assolutamente questi problemi.Sostituirò tutte le lampade AVATAR con altra Marca più affidabile .
