Luxury Plastic Music Box with the Castle in the Sky Tune (Item No. Ft002, Transparent Bottom,gold-plating Movement,set of 1)

Two tings I would like to say:1) The product is in general of a very good quality indeed, which is fantastic.2) I was expecting tune to be the more well-known 'To-toro To-to-ro, To-toro To-to-ro' section of the song, however it is not. It is in face the tune of the backing of the song from elsewhere in the music that is far less indicative of the Totoro music.Because of point 2 we were quite disappointed and so want to warn others of this before they purchased, but dispite this it is a lovely music box and the tune is pleasant, if a little short.

The box is well made and the sound is amazing considering how small it as. The only thing i could even try to say against it is it's not the totoro theme tune, it's a song from the film, just not the theme totoro song. The song from the music box is featured a few times over during the film, and on the soundtrack has many different names. Here's a link to one of the versions of it on youtube so you can listen to what you're buying.[...]I'd recommend it though, it's a great little box.

I bought this as a stocking filler thinking it was the totoro theme tune as my wife loves the movie. It is but not the one everybody thinks of and loves its not the catchy bit its the other slighty boring bit. however build quality is great and comes with a neat silk bag thing, still a nice gift however i am still looking for the catchier tune.

works fine however it arrived with th plastic case all cracked up. bur at least the music box still works

The four music boxes purchased are gifts for adults.I do not consider it a 'toy', instead I consider it a pleasure for adults.All adults who have received them have found them a joy.
