Coloured Beads Stair

An excellent product. These are not toys they are Montessori Maths teaching materials so the safety aspect is not an issue if they are used as they are meant to be used. Young children are attracted by small objects and small objects hold their attention - hence the size- it is all part of the design . They are used to teach children to count accurately using 1-1 correspondence, to order by size/length, and later on with other materials to teach place value. Two sets built together - one as a triangle and the other as an inverted triangle are a great way to teach number bonds to ten. I thought these coloured bead stairs were excellent quality and a very good price.

This item was absolutely ridiculous. The beads were tiny and not child friendly. This is not mentioned anywhere in the sellers description.They photograph displayed is EXTREMELY deceptive. If I had known they would be this minuscule I would have never purchased them. They are thus completely useless and just sit in the packet in a draw somewhere. Too dangerous to give to a small child due to choking hazard due to size of beads and assembled with cheap wire which can easily come apart

Very disappointed. It wasn't clear that you had to buy all three parts separately. We have a VERY small group of beads which on their own are useless and extremely tiny for a child to handle.

Excellent product. Combine it with the book: Teach Your 3-7 Year Old Math by Mr. John Bowman.Amazing... Definitely the way to teach maths especially to children who learn with their hands. Maths is first about building , finding patterns and then retaining concepts.

Very good and sturdy materials, which make some of mathematics operations understandable for pre-schooler.
