No good for photo printing. Colours very faded
Bought this ink for use in a Canon MG5550. Looked good value and good reviews. Photos are nowhere near as vibrant after using this ink versus "official" Canon ink. Wanted to check it wasn't my imagination so reprinted an old photo and the difference is obvious (photo attached)

Perfect and good price
My old ink supplier recently put up their prices from £9.99 for 5 cannon compatible cartridges to £12.99. I thought I'd take a chance on these ones. To my surprise they are exactly the same one's as my old supplier. They work perfectly and give very good results for all kinds of printing, text, photo, copy etc. I've been using these cartridges in my printers for over 5 years and never had a single problem, so pleased to find them again at a very good price. I'm going to buy an even greater quantity next time to get an even better price, which is just as well as my daughter is burning up ink fast for her photography course !!!

Good third party ink.
Brought for my new Canon printer - ink price and reasonable quality being important. These inks are everyday inks, so I'm not using them for archival quality photos. But then the printer isn't designed for that either. Although having said that it does a fine job on suitable glossy paper.Using these inks will dramatically reduce the price of each print. Based on current and previous Canon printers I have used this brand in, they won't clog the printer and they will work perfectly. Bear in mind I use my printers frequently, several prints a day, if you are only making one print a week or less then perhaps you may need more frequent cleaning - ink jets don't like to be left standing for weeks on end.Follow the instructions on the pack about the order of seal removal. Have a piece of kitchen roll to had to wipe any drips off before inserting - these are full cartridges and if they are left where it's hot the ink will expand (and unsurprisingly black ones are more prone to this) - put them in cleanly and quickly.Recommended

Brilliant value for so many cartridges
When I first saw the price and the amount of cartridges included in this set, I thought it couldn’t be real as I am used to paying over £40 for a single cartridge. Obviously then when I saw 30 advertised for £15 I couldn’t believe it.The cartridges worked perfectly with my Canon printer and they look exactly like the original ones (which Canon make). I think that companies have started to make cartridges themselves as the big printer companies can’t get away with selling cartridges for more than the printer itself. Now I’m not afraid to use much ink because I know how cheap and affordable.I can’t recommend this ink highly enough and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future when my current set runs out (which won’t be for a long time!). Brilliant purchase 😃

AWFUL - Absolute waste of money!
You get what you pay for.Awful product - only use the official cartridges - i can only assume that the positive reviews are fakes that have been purchased or something - these cartridges CANNOT be aligned due to manufacturing defects. Anything printed looks as though you're stating at it wearing drunk goggles - Terrible, knock off product and I'll 100% be getting my money back. How the hell are people allowed to sell products like this on Amazon?

Great cartridges - 73p per cartridge instead of £16. 20x cheaper than Canon ink.
For £11 received 15 transparent ink cartridges. Thats 73p per cartridge. I was a little sceptical as Canon originals cost £240 for the same 15 cartridges (£16 per cartridge).Looked at reviews and Which best buy and it looked like a no brainer. Turns out that it was. The results of photo printing were as good as the original straight away- without even doing the nozzle clean and check. The transparent cartridge body makes it so easy to see whether the ink container is actually empty. The cost per page works out at 0.12p !!Finding such affordable ink means I wont need to think twice about printing anything anymore. Also, as I dont print that often, the ridiculously low cost might encourage me to keep the printer fit and healthy by printing at least one page every week ( that would cost £4.50 per year instead of £99)

Contradicting instructions
The outer packaging shows 2 steps, first remove the plastic cap then remove the sticky tab on top. This makes sense as all OEM and 3rd party cartridges I've seen require this. However, the individual cartridge wrapping only mentions the plastic cap. I tried a yellow cartridge and peeled back the sticky label on top to check but could not see any hole. Red light on the cartridge indicated it was installed and not empty, but the nozzle check print showed no colour at all so was a little concerned. Three deep cleaning cycles solved the problem. Good price though so let's see how they go...

They are good - but not Perfect
These ink are good. However, I am a small business who needs to print around 10-20 pictures a month. These obviously needs to be of the highest quality since I sell them, and these inks - they aren't that. Compared side by side with brand ink, the brand ink is more vibrant and saturated. If you use it for personal and hobby stuff, by all means this is the perfect ink for you. But if you need tip top perfection, this isn't it for you.
