Its slim profile fits standard 25mm deep wall boxes, making it ideal for professional and home environments. Featuring a classic white plastic finish and easy installation fittings, it’s perfect for controlling V-Dim, electronic transformers, standard bulbs, GU10, and mains halogen lighting (not compatible with dimmable LEDs).

Twin dimmer control
This product is very competitively priced. You could easily pay four times the price for a twin dimmer switch. Seems to be good quality. As to longevity, only time will tell but it works perfectly.

Good switch but questionable long-term reliability
I bought this to replace another Varilight double dimmer switch that failed after two years. One set of lights it controlled suddenly started flickering and would only light dimly. A previous one survived only three years of relatively light use.The switch is easy to fit - I just copied the wiring connections from the old switch - and it works fine with a positive click when switching on or off. The rotating dimmer action is smooth and nicely weighted so you can adjust it to exactly the level needed quite easily. It is supplied with screws to fix the switch to a recessed wall box though no white screw cover caps.All in all, a good switch but it loses one star for a question about reliability/longevity.

Good product
Good product and does not hum. The cable connectors are small and all together hence a bit of a fiddle for DIY, but manageable. The switches are made top to bottom ie the connectors for one are on top the other on the bottom. C L1 and L2 are all very close together and wiring has to be precise. I had a number of cables to connect and found it easier to reduce the number of wires to one or two only.Would recommend product.

Thought this was great to begin with...
The product feels like it is of reasonable quality, and although a bit fiddly I got this wired up fine in the end....But then three months later one of the dimmers failed to work. I thought I had a loose wire, but just couldn't get it working.Called in an electrician who quickly confirmed that the switch that is dodgy, and changed it. Apparently this is not uncommon, but unfortunately the cost of getting an electrician out to fix things meant that this cheap purchase was well and truly a false economy.

Mine was unuitable for LED lights.
Build quality seemed ok, but the item I received was NOT suitable for (dimmable) LED lighting, therefore I simply returned it.I thought I'd checked this in advance, but apparently, I wasn't diligent enough (or I made a mistake when buying) so beware.
