I have bought both cheaper and more expensive switch units before and have got to say that these haven't been all that great. So when ordering this Ugreen switcher I didn't really have that high expectations for it, upon opening the box I was shocked to see how heavy and sturdy the unit actually was, it also looks a lot better than it does in the picture. Set up wise you just plug in your Hdmi cables and that's it your done. There is also the option of using the remote unit to change which device you want to use by plugging in the receiver. The receiver unit is not the best to look at and the remote control is cheap but both work fine and are fit for purpose. I have decided not to use them since it takes minimal to turn my PS4 off and switch on the xbone, or kodi box on to use them and the unit puts it on the correct channel for me. So pro's are easy to set up, looks good and seems to be well made. Cons are receiver unit could have been built in instead of having a lead and the remote isn't amazing but is fit for purpose. I would buy this product again in the future rather than buying cheaper units that fail after a month or so.

Only got it today. Using a Primewire brand cable to connect to TV and a set of Amazon basics cables to connect to Satellite, DVD and BluRay. All shielded so no problem keeping switch under TV. So far haven't tried the remote so cannot comment. Only one niggle: the rear panel legends are a wotsit to read, otherwise really simple. Plug and play - works fine. I would have liked to know the dimensions, they are: Unit is 5" wide, 3" deep and 3/4" high. Think a stack of 2 pads of rectangular post it notes. Packaging box is 5 3/4" square and 1 1/8" high. It IS small and lightweight. Once the cables are plugged in, it stays put. Very dim blue LEDs on top, one power, three for inputs, fine for me however. Would have been better colour coded but hey it's very cheap. Ugreen is variable on their prices, I've yet to find anything not value for money. Robust, supplied USB and remote cables thin but of the standard I expect from Ugreen.

This HDMI switcher does exactly what I needed it too. It has worked reliably for the short time I have used it and feels reasonably made so I am hoping it will last. I especially like that it comes with a remote signal receiver so that I can hide the box but use the remote effectively still. The reason I've given 4 rather than 5 stars is that the function of the remote has not been perfect. Selecting between named inputs 1, 2 and 3 isn't reliable. Though this is not of much consequence as the remote has a 'next' button allowing easy switching. All around very pleased with my purchase.

So I have been trying to buy A HDMI Input Cable Switch Box that allows me to connect more than one device to my TV or my Projector. Thanks to UGreen I was able to purchase this HDMI input cable switch box that allows me to connect my PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch, Blu Ray player to this box. So you have 1 output HDMI Slot that is used to connect your TV or projector to display that you are playing or watching. The box also has 3 input HDMI Slots where you can only connect three devices. They have given you a controller and a button on the box that also allows you to switch in-between your HDMI devices. There is no power cable as you are given a micro usb cable that allows you to connect your HDMI switch box to your Project or TV to get power and turn your box on. Not bad for the price, as this HDMI Switch box does the job and it is a good size and does not take that much room on your desk or table. So I think if you are looking for some cheap or just to connect your three gaming consoles, then I think you should buy this product as it does the job.

Great little device that is very easy to plug in and use - the only downside is its remote which feels very cheap - think of the remotes you would get to change fake candle lights. Quite difficult to change the input because of this That being said It does still function well and makes life easier with the ease of switching HDMIs easier - I Just wish the remote could have been better

After spending quite some time wondering which of the multitude of simple 3-way 4K HDMI switches would suit my purpose and whether or not it needs to be powered, I chose this. Why? Well I have several UGREEN products in my portfolio of computer components etc. and have found them to be of excellent quality, and this HDMI switch is no exception. Perhaps I could have used a non-powered switch, but in my experience if there is a powered version of the same product you usually need it! Eventually - if not immediately! And yes it is a bit more expensive than other solutions especially as it doesn't have an integrated HDMI output cable. But as usual, you get what you pay for; that in this case, includes an IR dongle that allows the switch to be hidden. Set up was easy and I use this to switch between an Amazon 4K Firestick and a blu-ray player. Works perfectly! And I now have a spare slot.

Didn't work with any of my devices apart from my nVidea shield, making it completely worthless. Picked up the Shield fine, displayed a 4K image without issue. Plugged in the PS4, switched on it, it autoswapped (good), and then, nothing; no display no sound. Swapped the input ports around, no image. Plugged the Sky Q box in, same issue. Tried the 3rd input port, no picture. Swapped the HDMI cable to a different one on the PS4, no image. Unplugged everything apart from the PS4 and switched the HDMI cable to the one that was working on the Shield. No Picture. Even tried powering the device from a USB Socket that gave 5V, instead of a USB plug from the TV. Guess what. No picture Completely useless.

just got it today and so far it has been working great. didn't need to connect the hdmi switcher to an external power source, it was able to use the power from the devices. setup was simple just plug and play. it is also pretty small and hardly visible, the external infrared sensor is also great and works well.

Posso dirmi molto soddisfatto del prodotto, sia in termini di funzionalità che di qualità costruttiva. La confezione di tipo 'ecologico' (che comunque è ben progettata e dimensionata) può di primo acchito far pensare ad un prodotto spartano - invece, subito dopo averla aperta, ci si rende conto di essere dinanzi a un prodotto ben ingegnerizzato e ben rifinito. L'unità principale presenta le stesse linee tese e prive di sbavature mostrate in foto; le plastiche sono pulitissime e molto solide, tanto da poterle facilmente scambiare per alluminio; i connettori sono montati con assoluta precisione, centrati e perfettamente a filo. Non si avvertono mai deformazioni o scricchiolii, e il pulsante di commutazione presenta una corsa breve e omogenea, con un 'click' secco e netto. A livello di funzionamento, questo switch si è rivelato molto più 'intelligente' di quanto sperassi: riconosce immediatamente l'ultima unità accesa (media player, console, lettore DVD, ecc.), senza mai incorrere in errori o incertezze. Non solo: se si spegne il dispositivo correntemente attivo, lo switch commuta automaticamente l'ingresso sul precedente dispositivo ancora acceso. Grazie a questo funzionamento completamente automatico, da quando ho acquistato questo switch non ho mai dovuto far ricorso né al pulsante di commutazione posto sull'unità principale, né al telecomando in dotazione. Per quanto riguarda l'alimentazione del dispositivo, incluso nella confezione troverete un cavo USB-microUSB di pregevole fattura, da inserire nella porta USB del televisore o in un comune alimentatore con uscita USB qualora i dispositivi HDMI connessi non fossero in grado di supplire un'alimentazione elettrica adeguata. Nel mio caso, tuttavia non è stato necessario impiegare alcuna forma di alimentazione supplementare: ho provato a connettere una Sony PlayStation 3, una Sony Playstation TV (PSTV), e un Western Digital WD TV e lo switch è risultato perfettamente funzionante sia con tutti i tre dispositivi contemporaneamente accesi, sia con tutti i dispositivi accesi singolarmente (per verificare che tutti fossero, individualmente, in grado di supplire sufficiente alimentazione elettrica). Aggiungo, come nota conclusiva, che il servizio clienti UGreen mi ha contattato al ricevimento della merce invitandomi a rivolgermi a loro qualora il prodotto fosse danneggiato o laddove avessi incontrato difficoltà nel farlo funzionare correttamente. Non posso valutare la qualità del supporto tecnico fornito perché, fortunatamente, non ne ho avuto sinora bisogno, ma sapere almeno che un servizio di supporto esiste e che questo si fa vivo da solo è abbastanza confortante. In sintesi, per prezzo, qualità costruttiva, efficacia (comportamento 'intelligente') ed efficienza di funzionamento (capacità di autoalimentarsi), non posso che consigliare questo prodotto a chiunque cerchi uno switch HDMI di buona fattura ad un prezzo ragionevole.

Ik heb deze gekocht omdat mijn oude switch niet meer functioneerde. Ik gebruik de switch om mijn spelcomputers allemaal via 1 HDMI kabel benaderbaar te hebben naar mijn televisie. Het fijne is dat de switch detecteert welke kabel een actief signaal zend, dit zorgt er voor dat ik niet steeds van kanaal hoef te wisselen als een dag later een andere spelcomputer gebruik. Overigens is het switchen verder wel snel geregeld met de bijgeleverde afstandsbediening.. de Infra-rood verlengkabel maakt helemaal af, deze kan je bijvoorbeeld onder je televisie plakken als je switch niet in het zicht staat. Goed over nagedacht en daarom 5 sterren!!

Nach der Anschaffung eines neuen TV-Gerätes mit 2 HDMI-Anschlüssen hatte ich mir den Umschalter geholt, für den Fall, dass ich weitere HDMI-Anschlüsse brauchen sollte. Der Fall trat ein, als ich eine Soundbase mit einem der beiden vorhandenen Anschlüsse verbinden musste. Jetzt schloss ich meinen Disc-Recorder und den DVD-Player über den Umschalter an den verbliebenen HDMI-Eingang an. Es funktionierte alles einwandfrei, die Umschaltung zwischen Recorder und Player ging sowohl manuell über den Schalter als auch über die Fernbedienung problemlos. Etwas später bemerkte ich jedoch ziemlich erstaunt, dass der Umschalter bei Anliegen nur einer Quelle diese sogar vollkommen selbständig auswählt und auf das TV-Gerät weiterleitet, so dass ein „menschliches“ Umschalten gar nicht nötig ist, wenn nur eine Quelle anliegt – und wann hat man schon zwei oder mehr Quellen gleichzeitig in Betrieb? Ich kann den Umschalter auf jeden Fall vorbehaltlos empfehlen, er tut, was er soll, und das auch noch sehr bequem. Eigentlich hätte er sogar sechs Sterne verdient…
