Really really pleased with my purchase. I don't usually review products although selfishly I often rely on other people's comments and reviews when buying stuff! However, I was so impressed with this dehumidifier that I wanted to leave some feedback. I haven't owned one of these before, so have nothing to compare it to but so far it has exceeded my expectations. Since the winter I've noticed several issues in my apartment including small patches of damp and mould, a "heavy" "damp" feeling in the air and loads more condensation despite frequently opening my windows.I decided to do something about this and brought several of those "high end" moisture absorbers and these were great, but I noticed they were filling with water really quickly, meaning I was buying costly refills often, also I hated the look of them, with that ugly looking blue water! So I decided to look For an alternative and lm so glad I did.My dehumidifier arrived quickly, needed minimum unpacking and setting up, the instructions are straightforward, the unit itself appears well built and sturdy, the control panel looks nice and is easy to use with buttons allowing you to control different functions including levels of humidity, fan boost and a useful timer. Its on wheels and has a handle on the top which is great if you need to move it around. The water collection tank is a good size and is easy to remove, empty and replace. And it's not too loud, just a gentle hum.....Within a few hours of turning it on I couldn't believe how much water had been collected, and more importantly how much "fresher" the air felt. The laundry function is a great idea, and I now feel confident to dry clothes inside on my airer. I had already fallen in love with this product, but after taking a shower I noticed no condensation on the bathroom mirror despite the unit being in a different room and I was even more impressed!

Despite arriving several days late, through no fault of the vendor, this Finether dehumidifier/ air purifier has been, if you'll pardon the pun, a proverbial breath of fresh air. It's fairly simple to use, when you first switch on it automatically adjusts to blue AUTO mode and keeps your humidity within plus or minus 3% of 50%. I really had little cause to change it except there is a "Continuous Clothes Drying Mode" (misspelt in the instructions as "model" but...never mind). On this orange mode it sets the humidity to a default plus or minus 3 of 20%. Largely because setting a humidity would be ineffective with excess from the washing. But all in all, the machine works amazingly well, extracting water from the atmosphere at an almost alarming rate, which is really what I wanted. There is one more setting, purple mode, which switches on and off depending on when your humidity falls outside specific parameters. Piece of cake.:-) We are in a one bedroomed property, I'd suggest that this would probably be adequate in much larger, perhapseven a three bedroomed house.And it purifies the air as an added bonus......useful if you suffer allergies but beneficial if you don't. The collected fluid is deposited in an easily accessible and removable container in the side. Don't worry about it overflowing, there's a cut off valve. But, there's also the facility to stick a pipe on it and drain it away constantly or into a larger container if you so choose.I have to say this is a really great item that visibly reduces window condensation, so if you suffer damp problems, I'd certainly stump up the reasonable amount that it costs, it could save a lot of heartache.......and mould. One gripe, the "mode(l)) button is a bit flawed in appearance, something slipped underneath I think, but it doesn't alter the overall use and performance. Recommended.

Product worked well to remove condensation from the inside of my car after a leak dumped 6-7 litres of rainwater into my rear footwells. I used a wet and dry vacuum cleaner to get rid of the visible surface water but once the carpets were saturated it was virtually impossible to get rid of the water trapped in the soundproofing layer underneath and the the seats etc.The dehumidifier is small enough to fit into the rear footwell once the front seats have been moved forwards and tilted, and can be left to do its work. Removed approx 3 1/2 litres of water over a 3 week period (but not used continuously due to cold and very wet weather).The unit is able to remove up to 1/2 litre of water an hour but the actual amount depends on the ambient temperature, with low temperatures slowing down the process considerably.The only small issues I have found so far have been the unit must be placed on a fairly level surface to function properly (the water can’t drain into the tank/ the compressor knocks against the inside of the casing), and the carry handle could probably do with being placed more towards the other end to improve the balance of the unit when being moved between rooms. Overall I have been impressed by this device and it’s ability to lower the moisture content of a room/space giving a more comfortable environment even without additional heating being utilised
