Beaphar Hairball Paste for Cats 2 in 1 100 g (Pack of 2)

We started giving this to our cat over a year ago now (she's an 8 year old Tortoiseshell and White Moggie) because she was having coughing fits nearly every day, and regularly coughing up hairballs every few weeks. The vet suggested that we start regularly giving her a hairball paste and this was the first one I found. It proved to be effective quite quickly. Within a couple of weeks the coughing was happening less and less. She now only coughs once a week at most, and only coughs up hairballs maybe once every 3 months or so. Our cat is not a fussy eater generally, but she positively loves eating this stuff and considers it a proper treat! I give her a 5cm serving every evening and that is the highlight of her day. This stuff really works so I can highly recommend it. If your cat loves it as much as ours, you can stop buying cat treats and just give him/her this instead, so it won't really cost any extra cash either!

Fantastic product. My poor long haired fluffball was coughing up hairballs on a weekly basis despite regular grooming. It was obviously very stressful for him, and stressful for me to see him going through that and also to constantly have to clean up whatever came out! I went online to find a remedy and this was my first choice due to the great reviews and price. The tubes are no-fuss from a humans point of view. He won't eat the paste on it's own (though, he is a very selective eater) but mixed in a bit of t-u-n-a or amongst his favorite treaties at dinner time and it is not a problem. He had a hairball, I think, the morning after the first time he ate the paste but then they literally vanished thereafter. We give him the paste with dinner probably every other day, or a few times a week and I am now on the 3rd tube. He has had a total of 2 hairballs since starting this which is absolutely wonderful improvement! I could not be without it now, I am very grateful and I'm sure he is, too (well, as much as a cat can be). High recommended!

I needed something with which to disguise my cat's daily pills (I can't give them to him in smoked salmon every day!). He loves it so It works well, though the tube is quite thick so it's a little difficult to squeeze the paste out - or maybe it's the paste itself? It also seems to be doing its job in respect of helping with hairballs. Unfortunately the paste I used to use has been discontinued - the tube was easier to squeeze - and the product was cheaper. However it's cheaper than smoked salmon!

This is excellent for hair balls. The best thing is my cat likes the taste, so is happy to eat it from my fingers!

Arya is a longhaired cat loves to be groomed but unfortunately that is not enough to keep the fur away from clogging his insides. He was heaving for a few days and I had run out of beaphar paste so re ordered it ➡️ after a week of giving him a bit of the paste with his breakfast everyday we had some good/gross results. I initially thought why did he poop in the house, he never poops indoors but on close inspection it was a hair'poop' (hairball) Gosh he must have felt so good after getting that out of him. The paste does the job, taste wise I can tell Arya is not impressed and tries to push it to one side, so I just make sure most of his dry food is covered in it. (dab the pellets in the paste) Lesson learnt - not to run out of paste again. 😺

Although my cat loves this product which I use every day however the first tube is practically empty after just a week. I noticed that the flow is not easy interrupted by burst of air which makes this product very expensive. In total i suspect you get probably half a tube of paste and half a tube of air locked inside the tube. The tube itself is very hard plastic and quite difficult to press in order to get the paste out, Unless they improve i will have to look for a different supplier.

This is a wonderful product, which has helped our cat immensly. She had a blockage that included two very large fairballs and this product was immediately effective. Unfortuntely the tubes do take a little understanding. Please note; BOTH TUBES are exactly the SAME. They both have Light and Dark brown strips in each tube (like the strips in some toothpaste). Some people think that one tube has the light Brown paste and the other tube has the dark brown paste. They do NOT 'They're both the SAME!! This is NOT explained in the instructions on either tube and there's NO leaflet enclosed in the box. So effectively you buy two tubes of the same thing!

Exactly what I wanted and my cat loves it.

This is by far the best product I have used for hairballs and/or bowel issues that my cats are having. They all love the flavor and it always works. Can't say enough good things about it-my babies thank you very much!
