Really outstanding kit
Have been dying to pick this up for awhile and had the opportunity to recently. The 5 amp batteries are key. They supply enormous power for a very long time. The drill is near the top of the line and turns my 12" auger bits with ease. The circular saw is light but normal size and a dream to use. I picked up the vacuum to go along with it and that was smart. Damn convenient having a light vac you can plug a battery into and pick up a big mess in seconds.

Dooooooo iiiiiit
Got this for my birthday. It is in December, my wife got this in a Black Friday deal. What an upgrade to the brushless system. I chose to get the hammer drill because I think it will come in handy down the line, and I’m a big guy so I don’t mind the weight. Also, I have other drills I can grab if I’m doing a big project. The tools are amazing, the impact gun is Very lightweight, and had amazing capability. The 1 setting is gentle enough to install drawer slide screws, while the 3 could drive a dull screw through Captain America’s shield without hesitation. The hammer drill is heavy as others have mentioned, but the hammer function may be something I need one day, and worth it. I have other drills that I could use if I felt this one getting too heavy for a project. Sawzall is beefy, and you can put the blade in at almost any direction. Saw is the “lefty” version, but I’m a lefty, so I finally get a tool made for me. The multi tool is the smoothest, nicest multi tool I have yet to put my hands on. The throttle sensitive trigger allows you to obtain an accuracy previously thought unattainable with such a violent, independently minded tool. Finally the light, what can I say, it turns on, and you can see more than you could before, unless you were staring at the bulb when you turned it on, then you can’t see anything for 5 minutes. My recommendation, get the brushless even if you don’t think you need it, they are great tools, and the extended battery life is so important.

All XR tools and batteries combo
There are 900 reviews on this combo and most cover the excellent performance so this review covers other factors to consider. One of the few combos with all XR tools and batteries. The XR tools are Dewalt in house development and not licensed to others are others tools licensed to Dewalt. These are the 2nd or 3rd best of each tool in the Dewalt lineup. Hammer drill for example, Dewalt has a power detect 60v capable and a newer revised model so it's basically the 3rd best available at time of purchase. This is the best value combo in my opinion if you want XR tools. You pretty much have to marry one brand these days or deal with having loads of different chargers and batteries. I've got 20-40v tools from Craftsman, ryobi, worx, black and Decker, porter cable and more and that's just a PIA vs one battery type and charger for everything. These tools crush all my other cordless tools in power and precision performance. It was between Milwaukee and Dewalt when I wanted to do the monogamous tool brand thing. I have used many Milwaukee tools of friends and they perform excellent and are inline price wise. Their more expensive models perform a little better and similar priced perform about the same. For me it came down to 2 things. 1st= Dewalt is owned by stanley black &Decker (NYSE: SWK) and Milwaukee is owned by TTI who is a company of the peoples republic of China. Meaning, with Dewalt the final profit stays in America. Even many of the XR models are built in America. 2nd= I have delt with Stanley B&D and TTI for warranty claims on multiple brands owned by each and have had 0 failed tools replaced by TTI and 5 replaced by Stanley Black and Decker owned brands. All of the claims with Stanley B&D brands were smooth and efficient with replacement tools shipped same or next business day .

Contractor Set
This is the Dewalt set that all contractors need. They’re all brushless motors, and the drill is a hammer drill. The impact gun has 3 modes, 1 being gentle enough to replace a screwdriver, and 3 being strong enough to send it to the moon.If you’re simply a home owner, or like DIY projects, you could save some money and get this exact tool set however with a brushed motor, and a non-hammer drill. I don’t know what the set # is, but I know it’s there because I almost mistakenly got that set. It’s about $300 cheaper for the ‘home-owner’ edition. But if money is no issue, and you need tools, then get this set because it is better. But if you don’t plan to use these tools everyday , get the brushed motor and save yourself some money. They’re both high quality and good tools, the brushless ones can just handle a bigger work load.I’ve saw people talking about a left handed vs right handed circular saw….. let’s be clear, this is for right handed use. 99% of tools are for right handed use. If you are a lefty and want one, I think Milwaukee makes those versions. Dewalt might, but it may need to be special made. Now you CAN use it on any hand, but it will be more difficult to see your cuts. However any professional knows how to use either hand depending on tight spaces, direction of cut, etc etc. This set is going to make me a looooot of money.

Nice kit
This is an upgraded set of tools made for heavier use. Kit does not dissappoint. All pieces in new condition and accounted for. Also came with a couple general purpose cutting blades for the oscillating tool and one for the circular saw. You will need to buy all the other blades and bits to get to work.

They Get the Job Done
While these do get the job done. The quality has dropped over the years since they were acquired by B&D.My kit here arrived NEW in OEM packing and was damaged cosmetically. Everything seemed to work except that. Company nor Amazon was any help in remedying that damage. I do truly like this set and use it quite frequently and has held up well for for. I would consider this brand again for future purchase
