Update 3: I still live this “bumper” but, yes, if you drop your phone regularly, get a regular plastic case. I droped my phone from 3 feet high onto a cement floor, onto the corner. The phone was well protected, but this product was really bent out of shape. I had to remove it, carefully bend it back to normal and then I was able to reinstall it. Still using it. So again, it provides good protection but not good for habitual droppers. Update 2: Yes it did seem to be getting “loose” along the long sides. I popped it out of the case and did some gentle reshaping of the frame to bend it back in, and it seems as good as new. I still can’t get over how much I actually enjoy seeing the phone I spent so much money on rather than hiding it. Update: I can’t get over how much I enjoy being able to see my beautifully crafted piece of tech rather than have it shrouded in rubber and plastic. First day with it: Exactly what I was hoping for. Due to the built in “feet” my phone sits without the wobble from the camera lens bump. Snapped right into the case from the front. Fits well, but due to others’ warnings, I’ll avoid taking off and putting it back unnecessarily. For $14, I’ll replace it if I need to.

I was initially hesitant to buy this frame because some of the bad reviews I had read. But since I always wanted to enjoy a caseless experience with my iPhone but having at least some kind of protection this product seemed to be a good fit so I finally decided to give it a try back on February this year. And it was a great decision. Thankfully I haven’t had any of the bad experiences some other customers had. And I’ve been using it for 7 months already and it still looks and feels like new to me, it’s not loose or scratched, which amazes me considering other people’s experiences. Is important to mention I’m really careful with my gadgets, so that also helps. I like its design a lot which also allows me to enjoy of my iPhone’s design as well. Regarding the protection topic I have to say that I feel more secure if I use a conventional case (so if I need to go to a place where a drop could result in a very bad outcome I would use a silicone Apple case I have instead. Otherwise I prefer to use this frame which allows me to enjoy of my device’s design, and the frame itself adds a sleek touch to it. For me, a great value for its price.

A little bit flimsy which is designed to put the phone in. Could be solve by putting thin double-sided tape to both sides. After that it feels good.

I received this case 20 hours ago.. put it on my phone 12 hours ago.. The case itself is warped. I can no longer plug a lighting cable to my phone because of the way the case just bent near the port The left side is no longer sitting flush on my phone. It doesn’t touch the phone so I gotta push extra hard to reach the volume buttons.. The mute switch is now unreachable.. It didn’t even last 24 hours.. now I have to deal with the inconvenience of driving to a ups store to get my refund.. I don’t even want an exchange, I’ll just have to stick to my previous case Save your time and money

This case is legitimately good. I’ve had bumper cases at various price ranges on older series of iPhone back all the way to the 5 and everything in between. This is right up there with the best while also coming in at the lowest price. The fit is snug. The black metal matches well with the phone and the slight rubberized lip protects both front and back surfaces. Very impressed.

After about 2-3 weeks of use I’m mixed about this case. When I first got it was nice and snug. Looked sleek and was very impressed by its aesthetics. After the honeymoon phase, it’s still my favorite looking case/bumper, as other bumper options are flimsy or bulkier. Price wise, maybe worth $10-12 in value would be the perfect price point. However, I am buying another one to replace the one I have after knowing the following issues. If that says anything. First, as others stated, if you take it off once it will become loose and flimsy, so put it on and don’t mess with it. Kind of wish they made it two parts: one piece plastic tpu and then another metal frame over that locks to overcome this problem. Could be a problem if you want to clean your phone edge’s frequently. Second problem is durability. One drop might make it loose but will probably protect your phone. I dropped my 4 times. First two times it off the couch onto wood floor (one was purposely for initial drop test). Nothing, perfectly fine decided to use it as a daily. One time off the car, very minimal damage. But frame did warp a bit… had to bend it back slightly to make it’s sides perfectly straight again. The worst drop was at hip height onto a store floor. This warped it even more but visually looked new, paint barely scratched, but now there’s more of a gap between the sides that now make it almost impossible to toggle my mute switch, which I didn’t have a problem reaching when it was new and snug. But after all considerations, it protected my phone. Both from and back screen protector were in tact. It’s still usable but not perfectly tight, so bought another one now knowing it’s limits. Price point, is cheap enough to give it another try but properly take care of it. There are two holes on the top for a lanyard but they’re small and difficult to get a good quality case lanyard on. Wish the holes were on the corners so that put them on the bottom right as I’m right handed and it would’ve probably prevented more accidental drops out of my hand.

Este marco lo pedí porque quería algo minimalista para mi teléfono, del mismo color para poder lucirlo. Quedé gratamente sorprendido porque ajusta muy bien, da un poco de juego pero es mínimo y es necesario para poder ponerlo y quitarlo. Ya me lo ha chuleado mucho, es cómodo para agarrar el iPhone, protege la parte trasera y los lentes. Recomiendo usar vidrios al frente y trasero.

La verdad lo pedí por qué es algo diferente a lo que se vende en el mercado, y si protege mi celular.

Los materiales de excelente calidad, si quieres que tu celular el color se luzca es lo que necesitas, sin embargo puede sentirse liso al tacto, y dar la sensación de que se resbala; además de que se percibe un poco holgado lo que obvio se necesita para que entre bien.

Smooth texture not great for grip/ questionable fit. It’s aluminum. So it has memory. After fitting it to the phone it seems to have stretched or bent a bit so now there’s travel space between the two she of the case and phone itself. Not overly comfortable to hold either on a 14promax as it feels as if the phone becomes wider yet no back to the case gives it a very awkward holding position. I am processing a return
