Love, Love, Love this torch. I use it all winter to start my wood stove. This thing is heavy duty, solid, dependable and can really get a fire going fast!

I had one of these (not this brand/company) year ago, and hated it because the butane would leak out, and every time I'd go to use it it was empty. Read one comment about this one that said it leaked, so I wanted to wait a while before rating it. Well, it's been just about one month since I received it and gave it its first fill.Just now tried it before writing this, and it fires right up, gives me full flame on demand, so it is NOT leaking for me. Guess that guy got one like I had before, just a bad manufacturing job on his.It is SOLIDLY made, it's all metal, so if you drop it worry about it going through your floor more than if it'll break. Some may not like it because of its weight, but it's fine with me, it FEELS like a tool (insert Tim Allen grunt here), and it sits where I put it, I don't have to worry (too much) about it getting easily knocked over.I'm satisfied with it.

Larger than I expected, but not a problem. I bought this for thawing out frozen pad locks/combination locks. Worked pretty good. The flame is way bigger than I was expecting. My only complaint is that I think it was supposed to be windproof. The wind blew the flame out many times while I was using it. Luckily, it sparked back up with one click every time. Heavy, sturdy construction.

I was initially very impressed with this torch lighter. The flame can get huge and very powerful. The material/build quality felt pretty good. It also looks nice. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving. I used this lighter lightly, I only had to fill it up once in about 5 weeks of owning it. In less than 6 weeks it completely stopped working. Now it's useless unless I decide to use it as a paper weight. I followed the Amazon support page in order to contact the manufacturer, I explained to them how it broke shortly after the one month return window closed. I've given them plenty of time to respond before writing this review and sadly the manufacturer hasn't replied to me at all. I feel ripped off. I hardly even used this lighter, I treated it with care, and despite all that it broke in an extremely short period of time. But not short enough to be covered by the one month Amazon return window.. A product breaking in <6 weeks is ridiculous. Considering how many reviews this has, and the fact that it's not the cheapest torch lighter on the market, I expected much better. My last torch lighter didn't blow as large of a flame as this, it also was primarily made out of plastic and cost half what this does, but even that one last a little over a year before breaking.. still not good.. but certainly better than lasting under 6 weeks. I hope the manufacturer decides to make things right. If they do I'll update this review. But as things are now, I recommend choosing a different lighter.

This Torch is an excellent sturdy and very nicely finished peace of equipment. I use it in my paintings for air bubbles and could not have asked for such good quality at such a fair price. that's any better than this.

It's made out off metal, it's heavy. Works like a charm.Juts buy it!

Easy to fill

After a while it starts to leak and then you waste butane. It has been about 2 months using it and too late to return it for a new one so I am stuck with what I have. It was pretty pricy but the quality was sturdy so I thought I would have a LONG lasting item. I was wrong. :-(
