EstesRiptide Launch Set with Rocket Launch Controller and Launch Pad New

I bought this rocket as a north present for a 14 year old. Didn’t want something tame that was intended for small children but equally didn’t want to spend 100s on it. This product seemed ideal and ultimately the recipient of the present loved it. However I had to spend nearly the purchase price again on rocket motors, wadding and solar component in order for the rocket to work.Like I say ultimately it was great but more expensive than I originally thought. Wasn’t helped by the fact that the wadding was only available from the US when was purchasing.

Never tried flying model rocket before. Was under pressure from Grand Son for a good performance.Well, we were all impressed. Read the clear instruction connected the ignition cable ,pressed the button and lift off. Sailed gently down with fully opened parachute. A1

Good starter kit

I attempted to get to the moon in this, but it's far too small, I couldn't even fit in it. Whilst this design oversight is clearly a problem, I managed to still get my data on the lizard people and completed my mission for Nasa.

Ausome little rocket

It's stuck in a tree now, but it flew there well, and the chute worked as it should.

Looks good , but you still have to buy motors although it stated it was ready to use .
