Predator 3D [Blu-ray]

I'm a massive Arnold Swarzenneger fan been a fan since his Hercules movie Debut. Loved the Original Terminator and Terminator 2 movies. I got the 3d Movie delivered to the house in excellent condition. So I bought a Oculus Quest back in May 2019 and decided to buy this Predator movie in 3d and for a Old Arnold Movie where he's in the Jungle and a Predator Alien is on the loose. Arnold's Character that he plays as Dutch and teams up with Carl Weather's. Great acting and awesome story to go along the awesome 3d effects more for the depth of field rather then the 3d but there's 3d in the movie too with Dutche's machine gun poking out of the screen is quite awesome too me. I'm using a Oculus Quest to play the movie in VR, using a awesome free app on the Oculus store or Steam called Bigscreen VR. Is this movie worth buying yes for 3d Lovers and Arnold fans most definitely. Not sure what some reviewers are watching. Giving bad reviews for terrible 3D. I don't know if they are expecting the old jaws 3D style of film, where everything pops out at you. This type of 3D is meant to give depth to a film. An every scene shows extra depth, which makes the movie just leap out at you. If this was also a 4k 3D transfer, I'm sure it was be amazing. Its right up there with the T2 3D that I watched at the cinema. I guess it also depends on what your watching it on. Cheap tv, cheap glasses and your gonna get cheap quality. I watched it through VR headset as an example.

3D can range from headache inducing to almost magical, and when added to a 2D film it is more the former. However I was pleased with the 3D quality in Predator. Is it magical? No, but it added a little something to the experience, and helped bring alive the scenes from this classic. Great for a movie night with friends.

Waxy and blighted with DNR. The 3D is actually quite good considering it was a conversion, better than expected. it is unfortunate that it's the Ultimate Hunter scan, but I found this quite fun and different with the 3D and the dnr etc didn't bother me as much as the regular 2d version. I also found this a much better viewing experience than the T2 3D restoration, the waxy effect and DNR was really off putting on T2 and doesn't seem quite as obtuse on this Bluray of Predator in 3D.

I purchased this film after seeing it was released in 3d assuming it would work with my older 3d TV but unfortunately this was not the case, the film plays as normal from the 3d option but I am guessing this is only for the newer style 3d. This has made me a bit more wary about buying 3d films in the future without doing my homework

Always liked this film so when I seen it was 3d I bought it and wasn’t dissatisfied even better than 2d.Deliverd on date i was given and I could check the tracking of the delivery to my door, good price as well .Very pleased.

Predator absolutely superb I played this on a Sony x800 Blu-ray player and a Sony DN 1080 receiver with the tv a Panasonic 58 inch set to normal 3D as cinema mode degraded the resolution while in normal the picture was almost 4K quality,I think this is an issue with some reviewers having problems with poor picture quality,The picture in 3D is one of the best I’ve seen when you consider the age of the movie an outstanding effort get the settings right and this 3D edition will not disappoint.

Not a great print, the 3D conversion is quite dark and doesn't add much to the movie. Ok as a novelty but next viewing will be back to the standard blu for me.

Predator has been a part of my life since I was a kid the 80s. (Yup, I was allowed to watch this glorious movie and other Arnie movies as a kid, thanks Mum <3) They do not make action movies like this anymore. And this blu-ray addition is a great remaster. I have owned this on VHS, DVD but I had to add this to my blu-ray collection. Do yourself a favour and add this, one and only, Predator to your own collection!

Je pense que c'est le meilleur de la serie,à l'époque de sa sortie j'ai pensé que l'idée etait bonne,et je le pense encore. Une bande de types au profils bien diversifiés,et qui n'ont peur de rien. L'alien quant à lui,est bien avançé technologiquement,et les dézingue tous uns par uns. Tous ? non car le bel Arnold,en tant que héros,s'en sort sans égratignures ou presque. Plaira aux fans de Scharzenegger.

Che dire, un film semplice e di effetto che avrò visto almeno 20 volte. Muscoli, armi e poco dialogo - cosa vuoi di più? Ambientato in una giungla umida e densa, un gruppo di uomini 'forti' deve fare i conti con una forza sovraumana e invisibile. Ognuno lo affronterà come meglio potrà; solo uno ne uscirà vivo. E per farlo, userà l'ingegno. In inglese, ci sono delle frasi intramontabili; Billy è stupendo; i sentimenti di astio e di amicizia sono credibili. Bravi tutti, persino la colonna sonora è di effetto. Anzi, quasi quasi è ora di rivederlo.
