20ft Extendable Flag Windsock Pole Heavy Duty Tip

We used this flag pole for Glastonbury Festival this year ( 2022) and it was great.Very tall.Very sturdyDid the job well.Carrying it around was easy and it's very light weight.

I bought this flag pole based on previous reviews and I’m not disappointed. Took it to Latitude festival to aid finding my tent amongst a sea of tents and for this it was perfect, my neighbours were very grateful too.Easy to transport, erect and stayed up for the whole weekend, who needs blue pills?I did order recommended ground spike and bungees which didn’t arrive in time so I attached my flag using 2 cable ties and used a wooden pole from a beach windbreak to mount it. All worked perfectly.If there had been a better option suggested as a ground spike it would have earned 5*

Only had this a few months and the top part has broken very disappointed in this product

Hmm. It's been an ok item. Worked as it should, until yesterday. I put it up, to fly my flags in the back garden - and it snapped in the wind. Bit disappointed. Do I order another....?

Strong, sturdy and does the job well

I plan to never use this..... I bought it to rescue a drone should I fly it into a tree using a 'snare' wire fitted to the end. Was unable to find any decent size information on here so can tell you that the 6.0M one I have received is about a 34mm outer tube and the last section with the tab on is about 3 to 4mm. Its total closed length is 1155mm.The storage case is just a cheap plastic bag with a plastic pop stud to close the flap.One question previously asked was could it be used at different heights? For my use it can as I can just pull out the sections I require that friction lock and leave the rest in the handle. I guess if you are fitting a windsock you could have some sections left in the outer pole but you would need to stuff some foam into the lowest section to prevent the pole rattling and guess that's not ideal so for a windsock its probably all or nothing for it to remain secure.I have not hung 800g off the end to see if it will lift my drone but it appears that it could do this without too many issues, if it works once and snapped then its a £20 pole vs a £1000 drone, so well worth it!

This is rubbish product. Save yourself the money and the heartache. It'll never fly a flag in anything but very moderate breezes (so that rules out 95% of days in Scotland!). Not that I'd know, coz I never got to the stage where the pole was fully extended. The extending of the pole is 'tricky' (alternate extending & twisting). The pole cracked in my hand as I extended it past 4 meters. Not it is stuck (half-up/half-down). Taking up much space and just reminding me what a waste of my money this has been. The 'eye' at the end of the pole is too small to ever accommodate any bungee/flag attachment (so don't waste your money on those either!). All in all, a VERY DISAPPOINTING product - and definitely ONE TO AVOID. Just remember: my flag never flew - it never even got attached to the pole at any stage. The pole never extended to it's full length (it snapped in my hand as I was tightening it) and it's now leaning against a wall waiting for it's trip to the skip!
