I used no scale after a refill of the hot tub as we detected limescale buildup. The water became very milky and didn’t clear up at all, but the limescale buildup was gone.Reluctant to refill the tub again after a few days I called up Happy Hot Tubs to ask what can be done to clear the water. I was immediately connected to a very professional and friendly technician who went through all steps on what was added in wich quantities and at what time and what the measurements of the water quality and then suggested what to do.I followed the steps and the spa was clear 3 days later and the filter had lots and lots of limescale in it.I never experienced such a good service for a product that didn’t cost a lot. I’m very happy with the product and will change the rest of the pool chemicals to Happy Hot Tubs too.Thank you for all the help!

I was sceptical at first, but gave this a whirl. The results are very good and we genuinely now have clearer spa water than before. We used the initial shock dose, which did turn the water cloudy for a good week or so (as indicated on the instructions). However, it then cleared and there are no longer any floating limescale "bits" in the water.

I have a real issue with hard water in my hot tub. I have tried alternative products, but this is by far the best. I recently switched to a cheaper alternative (similar price but for a 5 litre bottle). Not only did the other product not clear the limescale, but also caused a rash and itchiness on my skin. I’m never switching again. When i reverted to this product, not only bring back the clear water, it swiftly removed the limescale that was building up during the switch. Would highly recommend.

This eliminated the roughness around the water line and everything is now clean and slippery smooth. The water is Crystal clear too. Very impressed.

Reduced to scale in the hot tub but turned the water very cloudy and needing a double dose of clearing solution to clear it again.Worked so well that I’ve got enough for the next several years! Shame about the clouding.

Great and has kept the scale away from day one.

I was sceptical but this descaler got rid of mine that had come from the internal pipe work. It breaks it down and makes it disappear. Will use it now to keep the scale away.
