I use these tablets to clean my husband's thermos and travel mug as well as our coffee maker. I put one tablet in each thermos, fill with hot water from the kettle and leave them at least overnight, if not longer. All the stuck on coffee and cream build-up comes right off and they're super easy to clean after. I use abottle brush to gove them a good scrub as there is a soapy film left behind after I dump out the grimy liquid. They look as good as new afterwards. To cleam my coffee maker, I fill the coffee pot halfway and pour it into the water reservoir, I then place 1 tablet in the coffee pot and run one cycle to dissolve the tablet. I then pour that liquid into the watwr reservoir again, amd run one more cycle to descale my machine. I run three cycles with just water after that to get rid of any residue that may be in the machine. There is no weird taste left aftwr that,
