Very cool microscope
Easy to use and surprisingly powerful. Image quality is good for such a small screen. I use it to look at knives edges and it’s very cool. And very portable

Good value
Here's my two-cents regarding digital microscopes for blade edge inspection. (Sharpening help).I have been wanting one for a while.I've been using a magnifying lamp for years, but it doesn't zoom down to the details of the edge that the eye can't see.So I considered different types of digital microscopes.Ones that plug into your computer or phone (that doesn't have a screen itself, but uses those screens), or one that brings it's own screen. So I bought my first one on Facebook marketplace for $10 that uses a computer screen, and I eventually threw it away because it was total junk. The next one I bought was much better. It had a rack & pinion elevator and a large 10" screen. While it was good, it was too big and cumbersome for my uses for blade edge inspection. So what I'm presenting here is my 3rd digital microscope, and it's a keeper. The pictures I took with my phone doesn't reflect the better picture in the screen that I see.No, it's not a high def picture, but it's good enough, it's portable, and brings it's own screen to the table. So for my needs, it's the best bang for the buck that doesn't cost a fortune.~Thank you for sharing some of your valuable time with me.All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and no glory to us whatsoever!

You won't be disappointed
I'm not one who writes reviews much, but I was pretty impressed with this microscope. You often times really never know what you are going to get when you buy something that may be unknown from Amazon. My 10 year old daughter likes to use an old magnifier glass that we have laying around the house. I thought a good microscope could take that fun to another level. This little thing really does enhance the object nicely. It's fun to use it on various things. I'd say one of the best advantages of this is the portability. You can literally take it outside with you and look at plants, flowers and even bugs close up. I've had it for about two weeks and would recommend it.

Great quality at price point
I bought this for my grandfather who recently took up collecting rare pennies, but was struggling to see the details. The magnification is perfect for this and other small projects, but he found the buttons somewhat difficult to navigate and they aren't the most user friendly. He loves the built-in light which works quite well.

It’s really cool
I got this as a gift for an 8 year old. I had bought a standard microscope for him previously but we all found it kind of difficult and clunky to use. But this one is great!!! It’s so easy to use, and the clarity is great. He loves it. Definitely recommend for a kid who maybe wants a microscope or something like that. It’s just way more fun and easier to use. Great for adults too.

Initial Excitement Turned to Disappointment
Initially I was happy to stumble upon this portable microscope that also takes pictures. I purchased this thinking it would be super easy to use. Unfortunately, I personally didn't find that to be the case. The product was fine if all I wanted to do was and "look at stuff" and snap a photo. I went to charge it and insert the SD card which requires pulling a little flap back. I did this carefully but the flap came off completely. The two spikes that connect it are very flimsy and will not go back in. I figured I'd deal with the flap situation later.I was able to do the basics, turn it on and off, zoom in and out, and capture some photos. Things took a turn once I tried to download photos to my PC, set date/time, etc. I hooked up the USB cable to my computer and this device wasn't recognized. I found the instructions to be less than helpful and was frustrated. I took a break and found what was likely an automated e-mail from the manufacturer thanking me for my purchase and advised:Before using our product, here we would like to share some use tips with you: 【1】 Please read the instructions carefully before use. 【2】 You can connect to PC live viewing for a better experience. (the exclusive software download link is in the product description page) 【3】 Please fully charge and install the included SD card before first use. This made me more frustrated....【2】 is completely inaccurate, the download link is not on the product description page. I sent the company an e-mail and decided to call it quits. I realized that since it was the weekend I likely would not receive any response for several days. After dinner I decided to continue my pursuit, again and was finally I was able to set the date/time and delete photos. I tried re-downloading the software again but still was unsuccessful in transferring photos to my PC. I REALLY wanted to like this product but for me it seems overly complicated due to the lack of detailed information/instruction. I even looked on the manufacturer's website looking for a more comprehensive manual but there wasn't one. I submitted a return request on Amazon, boxed up the product and dropped it off at UPS.I did finally receive a response from the manufacturer which provided the link (which I had previously found on my own). They also stated "Following our video guide, I believe you can master it. Of course, if you have any operational questions, you can always come to us at any time."There was no video guide for this product on their website, I even went back and double checked. While I was disappointed in this product, I was even more disappointed in their customer service.

Great device
Recently purchased one of the microscopes that plug into a phone, it didn't work. So I purchased this, if you're looking for a microscope to quickly check tricomes on cannabis, THIS is THE microscope to buy! Zooms in great, focus is easy to use. Wish it had a little stand, but I can deal without that. This is by far the easiest handheld microscope I've used. No questionable software download, nothing. Just hit the power button and go. Great product.

6 year old grandson figured it out vey quickly
Good quality and excellent digital microscope. Bought it for a 6 year old boy, and he was able to use it with ease. This is so much easier to use than a mechanical optical microscope. Only negative is the small screen.
