This is a good bargain an good quality pasta. Makes a good TUNA NOODLE CASSAROLE.

Kids love it and they cook easy. Doesn't taste as great as the other big brands that cost 3x or 4x as much but they're fine. The kids like the shell shape and that's the most important thing.

Now bear in mind the 5-star rating reflects the quality for price ratio. Nowhere, and I mean nowhere, will you find such decent pasta for this price but here. I grew up in an Italian family, and we're pretty fussy about our pasta, sauce, oil, herbs, cheese, cold cuts, bread, etc. When I saw a pasta for 50 cents a pound, I was intrigued. What kind of pasta could this be for only 50 cents?It was pretty good actually. I had it with sausage in a tomato sauce, a goulash, and with butter and olive oil. If you're on a tight budget, this is the pasta for you. I was very pleasantly surprised. It's not the best pasta in the world, but it's damn good for 50 cents! They maximize the bang for the buck, and the taste and texture too.

For a buck bought a few just to have around as extra if needed.Well....Pretty good shells but what I really like is the small portion size. Makes it super easy cooking Mac n Cheese or other dishes for only a few servings. No more guessing and making too much for one or two people.

This pasta cooks up perfectly each time. I've used it for chili macaroni dinners and macaroni salad. In both cases, the pasta held its shape and didn't get mushy. It cooked up al dente each time. I would recommend it.
