Yaesu ft-710 aess is fantastic
The FT710 is absolutely phenomenal. I like this radio more than my Icom7300

Great rig
Takes a while to figure it out but that’s a good thing. Waiting on the external antenna tuner to arrive and for time to put up an end fed long wire. Super capable unit with loads of useful features. My only complaint so far is that it will not decode CW. Would think that would be an easy add to the software but alas no.

Works Great
This is my first HF radio, and I am still learning the machine, but it's a great radio! It is capable of so much. I love this radio.

Hook up to PC
If you want to do things like CW and decode etc hook it up to a PC. You can get a raspberry pi or a lattepanda which will be more than enough and a small LCD screen and you got a nice portable rig as well.
