I bought the self-adhesive leather repair kit for a chair that had a 6' x 2' crack in the leather about 6-months ago. The chair is only a couple of years old, but it's had some really rough treatment. I didn't want to throw away the chair, but I was embarrassed to have guests come over to the house and have to sit in the raggedy recliner. Eventually, I remembered this leather repair that I bought but lost around the house somewhere. I thought to myself where is that leather repair kit. I searched for a few minutes until I found it. Then I went searching for a video on Amazon that would show how to apply the leather repair patch. On the video, it appeared so simple, so I tried to apply the entire path to my 6' x 2' leather crack. It just so happened that the patch fit perfectly into a 1/3d portion of the seat. I placed the patch in the center and secured it with my fingers. It looks perfect. I can't tell that there is a black patch in the middle of my chair's seat. Maybe my chair was made for this path. You would need a magnifying glass to tell the difference. Even the texture is the same. I love this leather repair kit so much that I just bought another one. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a favorite chair that needs a repair. You can do this.

This product worked very well to cover the tear in my dashboard. It is very difficult to pick a correct color online. While the patch makes a great statement on my dashboard, I am satisfied with its performance.

Great find, and definitely bought time for my expensive leather couches! Although you can tell theyre a patch, they dont look bad. They stick well and stay put. Would buy them again!

The only problem is matching the color. I was close, but not perfect. However, it does hold well.

The product color was much closer to what I needed to patch, so I was happy with that feature. The adhesive is a disappointment. I ended up trying to seal the edges with super glue, which worked ok on the curved edges of the cushion I was patching. The adhesion in the wide field is ok, but peeling edges tell me the job will have to be done again.

It’s doing the job beautifully and was simple to install! Plus the price was great!

Used this on the arm of my Leather Chair and within a couple of months it started to crack. This is not a Leather Path, it's a cheap fabric patch with a phony leather feel. They attempt to make it sound like a leather product in their description, but it is not.

Decent quality of leather, but didn't adhere to the car seat very well. The edges keep coming loose.
