This is a great measuring tape. It is so easy to read - on both sides - with 8th fractions noted. Magnetic on the end is helpful and works well as does the lock. Only stays straight to 7' if you are very careful with it. I would recommend

Very handy and small enough to fit in backpack doesn’t hurt when you hit it on someone’s head though unfortunate it makes up for in its durability. Looks very neat and has a good handgrip so it doesn’t slip out of your hand when you hit with it. Lock is very good and the numbers on the tape can be read from very far away.

Numbers are easy to read and fractions off an inch are labeled. easy to grip.
