Works very well but key can only come out when locked. They are big. Keep oiled as the show small signs of rust, mine is outside.

Bought 3 of these - they looked good, felt well made and operated flawlessly from day oneHowever, these have started to go rusty after just one week of use - the garage lock has ceased and is almost impossible to open now; my dad can't get in his shed.Seriously - I am shocked by how quick these deteriorated. Rusting on locks I can accept after many years, but one week!Thie lock is advertised for outdoor use, but there is no way in hell these are suitable for such use, and if they start to rust and cease after just 1 week, they will be unusable very quicklyJust don't do it - they are cheap rubbishLooking to return now

I read a review about these locks not being the best but take the price into account and against similar padlocks at this price i reckon its great because almost every lock on the market can be opened i will not give away weak points but ask yourself this what is a strong alloy steel or brass and have paid more for a pad lock in a shop and it was approx £30 and i opened it in seconds but this one faired a lot better.I you are willing to pay lots for a lock that's virtually indestructible its of military class and its simply not worth price over usage in my case and i would say in many others.So yes their are things on the lock that could improve it but as a lock in general is a beast and it will take a pounding. Thanks.

Ordered 2 of these and was a bit miffed as was charged twice for p & p but to be fair when they arrived can probably see why!!! These padlocks I would say have to be the best and most secure I have ever purchased and great bargain price. I had my shipping container broken into as they just popped the previous padlock and with this one impossible and very heavy duty so also impossible to cut. Great item
