THIS SET IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love love love the Kiinde system!! It is so easy to pump and turn my bags directly into bottles. We use the Kiinde nipples as well, and my baby loves them. We started out using the adaptors for Tommee Tippee nipples but they leaked a lot and when you turn it upside down, milk came out! Annoying. No issues with the Kiinde nipples. Love. Anyway these pouches have been an absolute pleasure to use. Kiinde upgraded the plastic at some point and now they are really nice and thick. May not seem like it matters but the older ones were very thin, and would sometimes leak when frozen ones were being thawed out in the refrigerator. I pump a lot... and I mean A LOT! Much more than the average. I could pump up to 30 oz a day (My boy drinks a lot and I work full time). The convenience of not having to pump into one thing and then switch is HUGE. I can't tell you how many times we've brought a bottle out in public and people will ask me "What on Earth is that? I've never seen such a thing!" and then when I explain they are blown away. I'm a huge advocate for this company and I do NOT work for them. I have told many nursing mommies that if they pump, they should be using the Kiinde system. NOTE: I know they say not to resume them, but we reused them a lot! They aren't expensive necessarily, but when you pump as much as I do, it really can add up (talking hundreds of dollars) if you used a new pouch every time. My rule of thumb was that if it was prior frozen milk, I would not resuse and would dispose of the bag. But if it was fresh milk or only refrigerated milk, I would reuse. You can buy a cheap bottle brush from Target that will slide inside the opening and twist it around to full clean out the entire pouch from the inside. This can save you a lot of bags and money, but I still wouldn't reuse them 10x, maybe 2-3x. I'm not sure why their nipples don't get more talk either. Everyone recommended the Tommee Tippee or the Dr Brown's and I have to say that these nipples are the best. No leaks at all. Wonderful flow for baby. We breastfeed beautifully in the morning and after work yet he downs his milk like a champ during the day. Really excellent!! TIP: If you are on the go and are taking a bottle with you, leave the blue cap ON. Do not travel with the nipple attached. It WILL leak. I have lost many pouches of milk from doing so. What we do is we put the pouch inside the white case and inside of a Tommee Tippee insulator and have the nipple placed separately inside.

Great bottle feeding system!
As a busy working Mom, I love the Kiinde system. The disposable bottles are so easy and less dish washing! These medium nipples are perfect for my 6 month old. (The slow ones also work but it takes her FOREVER to eat!) Beware if you buy these nipples from Babies R Us or another retailer. The latest version has the ribs on the underside of the nipple. These ribs are to improve flow consistency and to improve the longevity of the nipple. They prevent the slits from tearing and growing over time. These ribs also serve to slow down the flow rate slightly. The slit locations and sizes are actually exactly the same between the old and new designs. All Active Latch nipples, new and old, have only 1 slit. Sometimes it may look like the ribs are slits (looking like 2 slits, or even 3), but in fact the single slit runs between the 2 ribs on the new design. Here's how to make sure they are the latest design: turn the box over and look at the date code that is physically stamped into the bottom of the box. There is no ink - the numbers and letters are just punched into the cardboard. The old nipples will have a date code that starts with "201306...". The newer version will start with "201308..." or "201311...", or any number greater than that. I've been assured that Amazon carries only the new nipples now, and every order I've placed has been the updated nipples. I'm a happy customer!

*One month Review
*1 month review* I don't know why I even bothered with bottles after using this kit. My newborn takes breastmilk, but I have always been anxious about how much he was actually getting when latched, so i opted to feed him with expressed (pumped) breastmilk. I used to pump, then pour the milk in jars to store in the fridge, then pour that into the feeding bottle. You know the drill.. THESE BAD BOYS CHANGED THAT. The pump adapters (the same adapter fir my Spectra as well as a cheap knock-off pump purchased from Amazon) allows me to pump directly into the pouch. the same pouch that i will later on feed my son. I'm lazy. I don't want to wash 7 bottles, 7 nipples, 7 anti-colic flanges every day. Now, its just the nipples and its a game changer. Also, my son is very colicky and an extremely messy eater. I AM NO LONGER DEALING WITH GAS BUILDUP OR WIPING HIM OFF CONSTANTLY DURING FEEDINGS. He also will still latch perfectly to my breast should I need him to. Highly recommend this set to anyone who will listen
