I love this folder. Might sound like a daft thing to say, and many of you probably are thinking 'what makes this different from other lever arch files'?Firstly, the material that it's made of. It's not made of that hard, dull plastic that most are files are made of. This is made of tough plastic, but it's not so rigid. It also comes in a variety of bright colours, the inside is white, not the same colour at the outside (mine is pink).Secondly, there is a plastic wallet at the front of the file to hold all those lose papers that you don't want to punch holes in. There is also a little section at the bottom for business cards.Thirdly, the folder stays shut with a cord that hooks around the circle on the front. No more flapping open files for me.Lastly the feel of it, the sturdiness, the look. I use it daily, for most of the day, and it still looks brand new, the clasps inside are still fitting together fully, not like some where they move slightly to one side and you have to keep pulling them together when you want to shut it.A great folder that may be a little pricier that others, but so worth the money

As many people are no doubt doing, I hesitated about the cost of this file. However, it is just so superior to other files I have ever bought. The thickness of the file and the material is excellent, feels like it will last an extremely long time. I also like that the lever arch bit means you can add papers from both angles, which is time saving. Love the additional extras too like the string / elastic thing that you can use to close the file and the pouch in the front. Just brilliant!

Very big, able to hold around 400 plastic wallets or 500 sheets of paper, I fit my whole degree printed out into one of these, pretty amazing. It also has pockets on the front and back (one a4, the others smaller) which I used for other uni paraphernalia. Love it. I've summed up my uni work all in one folder and it's relatively stylish. The binder mechanism works great too and seems smooth, haven't had any problems yet. Would definitely recommend if you need to store a lot of paper or wallets in one folder.

This is the fifth file I have bought. They are very good quality files. I have lots of work to hold for my PGCE and these files stand up to the load very well. I do think they are expensive but I am prepared to spend the money to have something that lasts and up to now, they are doing very well. I love the elastic close - keeps everything shut and reasonably secure. Will keep buying these.

Fed up with files that fall apart, I had come to trust Leitz products and went out of my way to purchase them in preference to the lesser files and folders in my local office supplies store. Last year I purchased an A4 file for the first year of a course I am doing. This year, I ordered the exact same file ready to house my second year notes. It looks the same from the outside but disappointingly the robustness of the metal thingy that holds the paper is vastly inferior to the one I purchased last year. I'll be lucky if it lasts the year without buckling and bending. If you can get an older file, you won't be disappointed but beware this recent batch is not up to scratch. If anyone knows of a brand that do a similar file and with great quality .... suggestions please! I'd be prepared to spend a bit more for the right product.

Just sexy stationary...can say much more. Love the elastic closing thing. Really sturdy, but also really large, do if you have a little girlie bag be aware. But my god this is a sexy folder. I love it, I have the real one too

I never thought I'd be excited by a file but this I really like. I love the vivid turquoise colour and it's smart design, it is well made, robust and will outlast many of my cheaper files. Inside the cover there are transparent sleeves to store extra important documents. The lever arch mechanism is strong and works very well and I love the elasticated closure fastening.Maybe a little more expensive than your average folder but buy one, you won't regret it!
