Good tool. Great price. Easy to use with a buddy!!
It does the job extremely well. Small enough for my smallish hands. The only thing i had any issues with was the safety locking mechanism. Which works fantastic lol. You must keep the little button pressed in when you use the cutter, take your finger off of it and you stop cutting. Other issue i had was i couldn't cut anything bigger than a bread box alone. Hubby had to cut while i fed the cardboard. No biggie, team work makes the... Well you get it lol. There were no technical issues. The thing is light enough my 62 year old hands had no issues making it do what I needed it to. The blade is well protected and the extra one they added is a plus. Its designed well. Only draw back for me was the safety button. But I think once it's used more than just this one tyme, it should be fine.I'd recommend it.

Wish I Had Bought Sooner
Ummmm this thing is amazing. Listen, several Amazon boxes might find their way to my porch each day - needless to say, I am breaking down cardboard daily. You all know the struggle of getting all that cardboard into the trash for the weekly pickup. Straight out of the box, I was able to use the tool. It was so easy to use. I appreciate that you need to hold a button with your pointer finger while pushing the larger button - safety first, ya'll.I tried it on several different boxes with various thicknesses, and it did the trick every time. I also appreciate that it comes with a replacement blade. I found myself breaking apart things I probably didn't need to because it was so fun. I would recommend this tool if you also keep Amazon in business with your daily spending.

Good for box cutting, but there's room for some improvement
I have been using this to cut up boxes for months now and it does the job quite well. I cut so much cardboard that I felt it was necessary to change the blade (extra blade included). This is where I ran into a snag. It was VERY tricky and at the beginning I didn't think it was possible. I used a pick to pull it out (see picture). But the slot for the screwdriver to remove the screw is too long and wide. NO normal screwdriver can grip it well, and even an oversized screwdriver struggled with staying in the shallow groove. (it screws off counter-clockwise) I have knocked off one star for this. For those of you that claimed it is impossible to replace the blade, you were close to being correct. But it can be done. The safety buttons on the sides is a little wonky, but you get used to it. Using this tool has completely eliminated getting sliced up accidentally by a utility knife/box cutter. (I hate when that happens)

Small but powerful, really impressed, should have bought sooner
It’s pretty strong for its size. Cuts cardboard easily. It is safe since it has a blade cover when not in use. Not heavy so it’s great when you need to cut a lot of cardboard. It can also be used for a long time and various times before recharging. Glad I bought this. Also great for piñata making since your hands don’t get tired or have pain like they would with regular scissors.

Good for cutting material that is flat and does not have uneven surfaces
Does exactly as advertised however, if you are cutting some thing other than a flat piece of material, the opening on the cutter isn’t large enough to accommodate that so I will have to buy another cutter, probably similar to tin snips

This little guy does just what I need
Although it's really not difficult ripping though boxes, I deal with enough of them that I'm tired of doing that & also tired of replacing box cutter blades &, honestly, tired of box cutters. So I got this fairly priced tool & I like it. I did have a VERY weird thing happen where the blade got on the wrong side of the guide. I really don't think it's the fault of the device, but me being too aggressive in my cutting. It ended up being a weird thing because the way it's designed I couldn't then just remove the blade because you can't remove the blade if it's on the side between the guide & the tool. I ended up having to take the tool apart, so that I could remove the guide, in order to remove the blade. Then I put it all back togther, popped the blade back on &, even though the glide seems square, when I ran it the guide quickly began to get on the wrong side of the blade again. I used a flat screwdriver to force it back to the correct side. Then when I tried again, the same issue. So I've obviously bent the guide (again, it really must be my fault from being way too aggressive using it). So I flipped the blade around, so the angle of it's edge is facing the guide. That seems to work. Now as the guide is trying to get on the other side of the blade, the blade is pushing it back to the side it should stay on. I really can't complain because if I really needed another one, I'd buy it. I think I had just gone to town on it muscling through way too much cardboard & bent the guide just enough to jack it up. At least now it appears that it'll keep working long enough to get my money's worth out of it. Now what I really wish someone would design is one that clamps onto the edge of a table, so that one may run cardboard down it, so both hands are free to hold the cardboard, but I like this little tool. It's a heck of a lot better than using box cutters. Also, anyone that's ever been inside of it has learned what I learned, the gears & their housing are a hellish &, if you are sick enough, fun little puzzle.

I don’t live it
I used this to cut up an oversized cardboard box and honestly I didn’t love it. It was awkward to trigger the safety mechanism while squeezing down to turn the blade on and it was much harder to cut through the cardboard than it seems like it should’ve been. I might attempt to sharpen the blade but either way it’s pretty disappointing

Goot item!
Good... it’s not super fast but it certainly does the job. I’m very happy with it so far.
