The perfect little iron
I found this iron to be lightweight, easy to use and in good working order. It helps with ironing smaller pieces of garment samples at home for my tailoring course when a normal sized iron is just to big to work with. There’s no leakage, comfortable to hold, comes with a small pouring container to place water in the iron for steaming. I’ve not used the steam feature yet but will update when I have. It’s also portable to travel with and May consider buying the carry case for the iron in the future, and it’s good value for money, which I purchased at a discounted price. I bought the PRYM ironing mat also to go with my PRYM iron. I highly recommend this product and wouldn’t be without it for all my small ironing tasks. Just perfect!

Ergonomic and good performance for a mini iron.
I’m very impressed with this little iron. It steams beautifully, is easy to fill, heats up really quickly and sits in my hand comfortably, being very ergonomically designed. Several heat settings which seem fine for all the fabrics i’ve used so far. It has a good length flex too. Overall, well made. I would have liked a better storage bag than the flimsy polyester slinky drawstring one supplied. There is a hard shell pod available separately which I might indulge in given time.

How did I sew without this?
As a professional sewer with 25+ years experience, you think you've found all the gadgets worth having, but then this comes along and one wonders how you lived without it. This is no weedy travel iron. I sometimes work for 20+ hours sewing, so need all the help I can get. This iron has made such a big difference. I have almost totally ditched my normal steam box iron for this. Easy to hold, it fits in the palm of the hand and it's mini sole plate makes pressing seams so easy, especially tiny, delicate seams like french seams on chiffon. I am an Haute Couture dressmaker, so the fabrics I use are expensive and spoil easily. The normal iron seems so huge and clumsy now and very heavy. This also has controllable steam and is easy to refill. A lovely non stick soleplate too. There is nothing I don't like about this. If you quilt, this is for you. It can easily be used near a sewing machine on a mini ironing board, cutting out the endless jumping up and down to use a normal iron and board. Highly recommended.

Great little iron
This is very handy for sewing projects. It’s very compact so it sits on my desk without getting in the way. It heats up very fast and is the perfect size for ironing seams and hems.

Craft Iron Prym
My original craft iron blew up. So when searching for a new one I decided, from all the hype I was hearing from fellow sewers on how great this was, I purchased it. I'm glad I have it. I love that I can turn off and on at the top of the iron. Love that I purchased the rubber pad to rest it on. Love that it's a good steam iron with it's own cute little measure jug. One thing I'm not happy about is the power cord exits the iron at the right hand side. As I'm a left handed person, I find this annoyingly in the way. placing the iron down on the left hand side the cord is facing me and constantly gets caught when I stretch for the iron. It would be much easier to handle for me if the power cord exited the iron at the back of the item. ( Typical Right handed person decision to have the cord out of the device at the right hand side because, it is then out of the right hand persons way.) Other than this one little gripe, I think it's a lovely iron.

Iron fell apart while in use ...
I bought this 1yr 6 months ago and the iron fell apart while I was using it. It looks like the screw sockets have melted. I used this iron very intermittently for sewing. I have since been in touch with the manufacturer who are sending me a replacement and have assured me this has not happened before in their experience.

Can't use water for steam because it comes out of the bottom of the iron. My fabric gets soaking wet and I need steam...I didn't realize that the plug is not compatible with my socket in USA so I purchased an adapter for $10.00 all for nothing...I think that I have to pay for shipping too to send it back to the UK like $ 29.00. Big hassle...gets hot but not great...
