This is a must have kit
Glad I bought this makes doing pocket screws a doddle, used this to make a Router Table Cabinet and it was a breeze, went together fast, came with everything I needed to do the job, highly recommend thanks seller and Amazon.I purchased another drill bit and more screws for this, so will have plenty for next job. This feels strong so hope it lasts.

Well constructed and simple to use
I have a small portable pocket hole jig which is great for small projects or occasional use but I was tasked with making 14 outdoor storage boxes.I looked around and came upon this and it worked really well.I set the height of the jig to the thickness of the wood being used using the guide on the jig, simple.I set the depth of the drill using the rotating step gauge on the jig, again simple.I tested the settings with some scrap wood, good to go.I was then able to mark up all the pieces of wood in pencil where I wanted the pocket holes to be and got to work. The attached clamp allowed for quick and easy positioning of the wood to be drilled so the 406 pocket holes were soon done.I had attached the jig to a board and then secured the board in a vice for stability and this definitely helped speed things up and this is explained in the instructions for the jig.The vacuum attachment also helped as it meant that there was no build up of sawdust inside the jig so no stopping to tap/blow or prod the drill guides clear, they were ready to go after each drilling. The whole set comes with a decent storage bag although I'm leaving my jig attached to the board so the jig won't fit in the bag now. There are cheaper versions and there are more expensive versions. I found that this jig worked very well and appears to have many more years of use to go.

Worth the investment.
I’m an occasional hobbyist and used this to build a set of bookcases from scratch. It works and they’re still standing.

Great, time-saving tool
The quality of the jig itself is very good. I have done around 400 holes into softwood. All holes are accurate and the jig has little to no signs of wear. It’s fairly small and very easy to set up and adjust. I’ve not used the clamp very much therefore cannot comment on that but it seems good enough although not that ‘heavy duty’.The square drill bits for the pocket screws are the part that lets this kit down. While being an ideal length to drive in screws without the driver getting in the way, they rounded far too quickly which I am very disappointed at. Unfortunately, the return window has closed and I cannot contact the seller but I will buy another brands bits and continue to use the jig.Aside from the poor quality drill bits, I’d say overall it’s an effective tool that is value for money - if you get it on offer.

Job Done, easily and quickly
I just made a torsion box mft table using this to do the joinsI used 18mm plywood.I had some long lengths, and the jigs removable side supports were a god send, with the built in clamp, I was able to smash out pocket hole after hole in many bits of wood. The dust extraction port was really handy, but it has an odd whistle as the air gets sucked through the drill holes.I can easily change the depth of the holes, the kit is well made. When screwing in pocket holes, the wood moves a touch. I clamped mine really well, but it still drifted slightly. Grrrr! Always clamp your joints!(I used my mft top with dogs and clamps, 2 90 degree brackets clamped to the work peices and also quick clamps and the cutouts to hold it all in place -> result, the wood shifted very slightly -> may chuck in a dowel next time. The movement was far less than 1 mm, and I am being really picky)When I first used the jig, I got some metal shavings as the drill removed some of the black surface finish around where the drill leaves the jib and enters the wood. Surface finish -> gone, but the metal shavings stopped as I used the jig more and more.I'd buy this again -> its well made, the extra gubbings made it really easy to use, hardly any time spent faffing around lining things up and clamp them. Its a case of mark up where you want the holes to go, plonk it in the jig, roughly place the side supports, clamp, drill, unclamp, shift the wood to a mark, clamp...The top of the jig has marks to show the center of the hole against the wood. Really easy to line up and adjust. I looked at cheap chinese ones, cheaper trand ones, Kreg and I am glad I got this one.

Brilliant bit of kit
Great for creating furniture - used to make a couple of fitted wardrobes out of MFC.

Goog at producing joins in soft and hard wood.
I used this to make a frame of 44 x 44 mm spruce, It worked well and provided a strog enough join. Worth noting that you can not hold this thickness of wood with the clamp in the unit. It will not go back far enough so I used a woodwork clamp to hold it. The metal guides can be got close enough for the 44 mm wood but only just. The guides also have a tendency to move a few mm and so you need to check they are in position and if necessary push them towards the centre before clamping. All in all, quick and effective and a lot easier than just using screws. Because the wood was relatively thick I was able to put screws in top and bottom doubling the hold.
