Is this better for dogs than the pukka paws 2 in 1 brush

Can't really answer that as i have never used the pukka paws 2 in 1. but it is really good on my dog who has short hair

Will this work on a english bull terrier?

I would say yes, this FURblaster de shedding tool will most certainly, considerably reduce the amount of hair around the home and will give you and your hoover less work to do! 😁 English Bull Terriers do shed quite badly as does my Rottie x Mastiff. Is this suitable for a husky coat?

HiDepends on what you want to achieve,it does remove a lot of dead coat but also cuts into top coat .It seems to trim and remove undercoat at the same time. I have not used mine since trying out on my Pomeranians because of the damage to the guard hairs. I much prefer a grooming rake to remove moulted undercoat. Hope this helps
