Minecraft: The Complete Handbook Collection

My nephew (age 9) is completely obsessed with Minecraft so I thought this would be a pretty fail safe present, and I was right! The books are a lovely quality, and a presented really nicely. I would say that they are quite complex however, and maybe the age range should begin slightly higher.

Bought this set for my 10 years old son who is crazy about minecraft. He was very happy with these books especially because they are the u dated versions. Now he has lots of new ideas and can craft away to improve his minecraft worlds to his heart's content.

The books arrived on time, however one of them wasn't the updated version so have had to purchase that separately making the set only £2 cheaper than new. Will be wary of buying 2nd hand again.

My 12 year old son is a massive fan of Minecraft and found loads of tips that he now uses. The presentation of the books in the box is great and will definitely be ordering more of these for his friends as Xmas presents.

I bought this for my son but read all the books cover to cover. A really comprehensive guide to minecraft and I fully recommend it!

So I notice most of the reviews are parents saying how much their child loves this collection. WELL. I am not embarrassed to say that I'm a 24 year old mother who bought this for herself. I've been playing Minecraft for 4 years now. It's almost my #1 favorite game. (Classic Tomb Raider is top) I have put a lot of time into Minecraft. When I first started playing I didn't have access to the internet so I learned everything on my own. I still very rarely look for answers on the internet. It's overwhelming to me and just hard to find what I'm looking for. I'm so happy I found these handbooks!! I have become very fluent in the game on my own, but with a game like this it's almost impossible to know everything. One thing I've always had trouble with is Redstone. The Redstone handbook has taught me a general idea of how it works, but I'm still confused with the concept of "endless possibilities". I'm working with it though, and that's something I just didn't do. The colored photos and diagrams they show are so helpful. I've learned many new things from each Handbook. -Like, never place a bed in the Nether or End. -Notch is the creator of Minecraft. -Creepers drop music discs if killed by a skeleton. -You can walk a tamed wolf with a fishing rod. You can also use fishing rods to reel mobs to their death. I haven't read them all cover to cover yet, so I'm sure there's much more to learn. Bottom line, these handbooks are created in a way that they can be understood by all ages. (If you're old enough to play the game, you're old enough to read the books) They are made very clearly with photos of all explanations. They are great for beginners and experts. In fact, if you put so much time into Minecraft that you ARE expert, then you'll want to have these books just as a fan. I've included photos so you can get an idea of what they look like and what's inside. If I could change anything about these books it would be a more thorough explanation of Redstone. Kinda like Redstone for Dummies. But they are perfect. They are beautiful. Everytime I hold them I am taken back to that calming place in gameplay. Important to note: these handbooks are geared more towards the PC/Mac platforms rather than Xbox or Playstation. I personally play on Xbox One, and 99% of the material is still relevant to me. It's just different controls and setup but you can still have the same outcomes. Hope this review is helpful! Happy Mining.

Este articulo permite conocer algunas cosas nuevas del Mundo de Minecraft, aunque hay mucha información en Internet, el hecho de tenerlo en un libro y con muchas recomendaciones, un nivel de detalle interesante en la descripción y en las ilustraciones, permite conocer un poco mas de este fascinante mundo. Aunque principalmente lo compre por el libro de Redstone, quede fascinado con los otros libros también. PROS: - Excelente presentación. - Información detallada: tips, trucos y retos. - Cubre los aspectos mas importantes del juego. - Tamaño de Bolsillo. - A todo color con excelentes ilustraciones. - Fácil de entender. CONS: - Esta versión solo esta en idioma Inglés. - Agrega poca información a personas Expertas en el juego. - Debería de haber una edición digital. Es un articulo recomendado, sirve para adentrarse en el Mundo de Minecraft o conocer un poco mas. Si el idioma Inglés no es barrera, es un libro muy sencillo de leer.

Per chi è alle prime armi, è di grandissimo aiuto, perché parte proprio dalle basi del crafting, della sopravvivenza, del building structures, e anche di circuiti semplicissimi di Redstone. Per tutti coloro che pensano di sapere davvero tutto su Minecraft, provate a leggere qualche pagina di questo libro e capirete il motivo della mia affermazione! Consigliatissimo, per i più piccoli, per stimolare in loro la creatività che non va mai persa nella vita, e per i più grandi, per far ritrovare loro l'architetto/costruttore/qualsiasi cosa vogliate essere che è nascosto dentro ognuno di noi.
