I brought this in replacement of the leave in conditioner as it was out of stock. I got this for my 5 year old daughters hair, she is mixed but has soft curly hair. This stuff is terrible!!! Avoid at all costs. All it did was strip the oils from her hair and made it brittle and very frizzy. It also leaves a sticky like residue in the hair which makes is hard to comb through! I won't be using shea moisture again, imnnitnsure ifntheubjave changed something in it but it's not good for hair, I even used it on my own hair which is slightly thicker than my daughters and again has done nothing but make it brittle. This stuff has completely put me off! I will stick to Cantu which is much, much better!

I have been struggling with high-porosity hair for over a year and it has been so difficult to find products that help restore my hair to back to healthy hair texture. I have wasted money and tried so many products but almost nothing works for high porosity hair but this does! The cream is quite thick, so I don't recommend this for people with fine hair. The scent is good, it's VERY moisturizing and the value is pretty good (if you're paying around $10-15).

Ran out in 2 weeks finna buy again. So soft and moisturizing. Smells so good. I have 3a-4c hair bc it’s heat damaged, but makes my curls so bouncy.

My hair are more moisturized and less hair breakage.
