Saphir Horsehair Brush (18cm)

great product, patience, and elbow grease and they shine so bright!

It's not often these days that I'm positively surprised by the high quality of a purchased item, but in this case I certainly was. The brush seems well made, the wood handle is smooth, and the bristles are nice and soft. This brush should prove pleasant to use while I expect the soft bristles to do a fine job of producing a good shine on polished shoes. Cannot yet comment on whether the brush sheds bristles during usage, but as I said, it definitely appears to be a well-made, high quality product.

Very soft and decent size handle. I bought this brush to specifically use on my Jeffery West boots which retail at over £300, so I wasn't taking any chances on buying a sub standard brush. But I am pleased with its quality and no issues so far however I use my boots on special occasions and so not used the brush that much yet

Tried other horsehair brushes which were cheaper, some marginally, but my floor was covered in horsehairs. This has shed hardly anything, feels good in the hand. Pay a little more, get these Saphir brushes.

Bonne brosse de lustrage. Au début, quelques poils se barrent, mais ensuite, elle fait son travail comme il faut et pour longtemps. Suite à certains commentaires, ne pas s'inquiéter des poils qu'elle perd au début, car ça s'arrête ensuite, c'est juste à mon avis "le rodage". Je recommande.

No sirve para suciedad pesada debido a la longitud de los pelos ni para pulir o encerar por su densidad, pero para lo que si sirve y muy bien es para quitar las partículas ligeras que día a día quedan en el calzado. Unas pasadas al llegar a casa y los zapatos como nuevos.

I use this to wipe the dirt, dust, and grime off my Allen-Edmonds dress boots after each wear. I use this brush, too, to finalize the buffing after applying the Sapphir Renovator conditioner with a polishing cloth. The fine bristles of the brush help work the conditioner into the grain of the leather. The bristles are soft and gentle, even more so than when you pet a horse, that it will not damage. Overall, this is a high-quality brush. Philosophy I find shoe care to be a welcome reprieve in a world filled with people constantly rushing to and fro; pushing and clamoring over each other; and getting impatient with one another. I take the time to reflect on life's journey or just the trip from which I have returned during the few minutes it takes to replace the shoe trees and brush off the dirt and grime. Polishing and waxing my shoes, I instantly see the fruits of my labor. I appreciate, too, looking good, as the outer image we hold of ourselves is a reflection of our inner image. In other words, bring more mindfulness and appreciation into your life.
