Perfect for Vinyl – Great Sound and Build Quality
I bought these speakers to connect to my vinyl player and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is clear, rich, and well-balanced, making my records sound amazing. The Bluetooth connection is also super handy when I just want to stream music from my phone. They look sleek and stylish, and the build feels solid. For the price, I think they offer excellent value. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good bookshelf speakers that work great with vinyl!

For the price these sound outstanding
I've had many speakers and headphones in my time across the entire price spectrum (without getting into ridiculous territory) just within the needs of someone buying appropriately sized speakers for my room (which is often small). The majority of speakers, particularly active ones, I've had for my PC/Desktop speakers have sounded fine at this price point but never ever sound open and rarely provide a coherent soundstage. They'll sound good but boxy (for example the Bose Companions and Creative 40s) they'll sound fine and more than adequate for a compact solution for a PC set up but they'll always sound boxed in. These do the unthinkable for speakers in this price range and that's sound completely open and not at all confined to the speaker. The highs are crisp, though like a little bit of refinement you'd find in premium speakers, the bass is accurate and controlled at most listening levels (though doesn start to distort once you crank them up) and the mids seem accurate and detailed (though not as revealing as higher end speakers). The soundstage is pretty great and the cabinets are built of sturdy MDF which means the cabinets don't resonate uncontrollably allowing a decent amount of clarity between instruments whilst listening to music. The one part I'd say could do with at least some improvement is the vocals, they don't quite deliver with the power and punch I'd like and quieter singers can get lost in moderate volumes especially. But for the price I honeslty don't think you can buy a better pair of active speakers, hell I'd be happy with these if they cost £200 but at £120 they're a complete steal For reference I have the speakers set up on 2 speaker stands behind my desk and not near any walls approx. 1 meter away from my ears at tweeter ear level. Though I have tested them for performance in filling a room and I can confirm this pair of speakers will fill most bedrooms and medium sized living rooms easily without the need to push the speakers into volumes that cause distortion.

Great speakers!
I hesitated for a long time about getting speakers for my vinyl player, the ones integrated in the player just didn’t give the music a kick. I looked at various speakers online, but these ones I came back to all the time, so took the plunge and bought them. When they arrived and I unboxed, they felt nice and weighty, looked good and also came with wires. Plugged them in the mains, connected them to the player via the wires provided and then played some vinyl. I’ve played Metallica, AC/DC, Fleetwood mac and some others, and I Must say for the price the sound is Amazing! I’m not an audiophile by any means, but I love my music and these happily fill my lounge with music and no distortion on the louder settings. The only small gripe is the remote, it’s flimsy, buttons feel cheap and it’s tiny (the size of a credit card).

I don't think you can get a richer sound for the money, but there are some drawbacks.
Great, clear sound for a home cinema or computer set up. You could certainly do better for hi-fi sound but only by paying out significantly more money. These speakers certainly punch above their weight and will only fail to please the most dedicated audiophiles. Personally I found getting the bass and treble just right was tricky. The mids are a little underpowered in my opinion so although this can drown you in bass if you crank it up, it's likely to wash the vocals away in the torrent. Compared to the logitech computer speakers I've replaced with these, they offer a significant boost in quality for music and gaming. For TV and spoken word stuff though, they're not really much of an improvement. The connectivity is good with plenty of versatility of which I highly approve. Of those, the Bluetooth 4 connection is a little disappointing and I'd expect an upgrade to Bluetooth 5 by now for how much the speakers cost. Being Bluetooth 4, lag from the source is noticeable if you concentrate hard enough, but not as bad as earlier Bluetooth versions. The remote control is... eh... well, it exists. It's small, cheap, flimsy and the button layout is esoteric. It's not hard to figure out powering on and connecting to Bluetooth etc. but the mushy buttons give little feedback to let you know if you pressed them enough to register. There's also a boot-up delay meaning you have to train yourself to wait a few seconds between presses. You get used to it, but the whole remote feels like a design afterthought and should be improved.

Best Value for Money for a decent pair of speakers
Saw these recommended for a new vinyl player I bought, and after reading reviews decided to get them. For the money these have to be pretty close to the best speakers you can get. They have some low end, pretty clear mids and highs. Bluetooth worked first time and has very clear tone, setting the speakers up was very quick and easy and came with RCA, RCA to 3.5mm Jack and optical cable which I was surprised about Would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for the best value for money in this price range.
