very disappointed in its performance -largely due to poor product quality
It was bought as it appeared to have all the options for hand shears. However, very disappointed in its performance -largely due to poor product quality. The blades are not sufficiently effectively to cut grass properly. The locking slide was constantly slipping into the locking mode -making it impossible to use. Good news is that Davaon recognised that immediately and made full refund. Have since purchase a similar shears from Wolf Garten -a well made German product which so far works very efficiently.

Broke in first 5 seconds
I would have given this zero stars but that was not an option. Considering how much it cost (I paid £11.50) you would expect this to be sharp and a good quality item. Well these shears were neither!.First I struggled to cut anything with them and then I dropped them, on very long grass so it was a soft landing, and the safety button broke!Honestly save your money and buy something else.

Top marks for Davaon Pro Swivel Hand Shears
Very pleased with my Davaon Pro Swivel Hand Shears, my lawn was too long to mow and because of arthritis I found old Shears too heavy to handle. I've used these to cut the edges for the lawn , reduced the length of the grass to mow and trimmed shrubs. I found them very easy to use and fully recommend them. All using one hand, Great.

Pleased to use Item
Just what our grass ordered great for cutting grass around fence post and its good the way you can swop the position and locks in so no accidents are caused very easy to use not tough to handle and just slices through the grass without effort. Very well packaged for safety while in transit but one thing could do with a blade guard when not in use.

Very effective shears.
Very sharp shears. Easy to use. The swivel facility makes it ideal for shaping your hedge, bushes etc.I would give it five stars but find that it is quite tiring on the hand doing one-handed shearing. A youngerperson probably wouldn't have any problem with it.

Versatile product.
This is a excellent tool and very versatile because the blade swivels so that it can be used at all times. It cuts through the grass with ease and although the handle is manufactured from plastic it is reasonably strong. Overall a good product at a reasonable price.
