Great Quality
Really happy with purchase. Works great, doesn't take too long to heat up. I put it on while I'm setting up. The stones are great quality and come in a sturdy wooden box.

FALSE CLAIM
The description claims that these stones are highly polished (Days are spent caring and polishing each stone, ensuring the high quality polished finish and deep natural colouring). With the exception of a process for polishing basalt floors (developed a few years ago in New Zealand - it doesn't do rounded surfaces, just flat surfaces) basalt cannot be polished to a high sheen (this is verifiable online). There are 2 ways in which basalt massage stones can be brought to an artificial high sheen. One is by polishing with chemical waxes. The other is by using an epoxy resin which seals the stone in a shiny shell. This is the method used for basalt kitchen worktops to make them smooth enough to be wipeable. The claim that each stone has been polished for days is obviously untrue. Even in China wages are not so low that you could employ someone to polish a stone for days and still have it priced affordably. These stones look super shiny which suggests use of an epoxy resin rather than a chemical wax. If its chemical wax you probably don't want it rubbing off on your client's skin.Hot stone researchers warn that shiny stones have a low radiance variable, which means the rate at which they give off heat is fast, intense and sometimes unpredictable -- especially if they are basalt. Consequently, silky smooth stones can be too hot and slippery to place directly on the skin. This information is also verifiable online. Smooth stones also lack "grippiness" with the connective tissue meaning that they are not suitable for deep massage.
