I loaded my roof rack up with some quite heavy sheets of wood, using these ties to secure the load. They allowed me to get a good tight fixing, allowing me to drive across town safely. The load didn't move a single millimetre, It was very secure.UPDATE: Although strong, I have noticed that the very thin black threads that make up the straps are starting to fray and snag (after only one use) leading me to suspect that they are not very robust and will not last for too many uses..

Nice solid, top quality, confidence inspiring kit. Good solid ratchet with comfortable handle grips. The hooks work great with the strapping points in my van and you don't lose length by having to loop the strap back on itself. The soft loops keep the hooks away from whatever you are strapping down, in my case a motorbike and the bag keeps everything together and protected from dust etc. Bought these to replace an old ratchet that had become a bit stiff. You can buy cheaper but in this case you definitely get what you paid for.

Ditto other reviewers here - really good robust product and looks like very good value for money. I also really like the bag. It's funny, but you really need a storage bag. From experience, if you leave any straps them in a drawer or bottom of the cupboard they unravel and start to connect to things octopus like. The fact that these come with a bag shows that the product is well thought through. I'd never heard of Audew before now, but will look out for them now.

These are brilliant! Nice strong straps with a cool design, plastic coated hooks, and the moulded handles make them really easy to use. They also include a couple of looped straps, which I've not used but they're sure to come in handy at some point. The bag is a nice touch to keep them tidy and avoid scratching when they're not being used, and delivery was really quick (less than 24 hours from ordering)I've used them to secure a motorbike to my trailer and although I used some secondary straps for peace of mind, they weren't really necessary - these strapped between the handlebars and the trailer had everything rock solid. Highly recommended.

Well made, great value for money, not cheap materials, will last great design worth the couple of pounds extra, feel confident to use them to tie down my boat

I choose these as they had a good load capacity and well made using reinforced Web stiich, I've used two too straighten a 25ft high tree. They have withstood 10 months of weather including high winds and rain without faultering or showing sighnes of ware.

Just what was looking for, slightly shorter than ideally wanted but perfect for job do and use for.. Good quality and nicely all in a bag to keep them together.. Might replace older ones with these in future

After 5 months of constant use they look like new. Long and durable too. Perfect for roof racks banging timber to shape or holding your awning secure.
