I bought this trainer to better understand how to use an EpiPen correctly and it’s been extremely helpful. The design is clear and easy to follow, making it ideal for anyone who wants to feel more confident in an emergency situation. It’s simple to use and allows you to practise the correct technique without any stress. I think this would be especially useful for families, carers, schools, or anyone supporting someone with severe allergies. The trainer feels well made and durable and it does exactly what it’s meant to do. Having practised with this, I feel far more confident about what to do if the situation ever arises. Pros: Clear and easy to use Builds confidence Great for practice and education Well made Cons: None for its intended purpose A really valuable product that I would strongly recommend.

First aid training supplies , great quality

Great for training my friends and family in how to potentially save my life. It's easy to reset for multiple uses and looks and works just like the real thing. I feel safer now that I'm confident that people around me know how to use my pen in an emergency. Make sure you never store or carry it with your real EpiPens as the two could easily be confused in an emergency and if the wrong one is picked up you wouldn't receive life saving medication. It does say it's for training on it but in an emergency it's unlikely someone would read all the labels.

Great prop / training aid.

Haven't used it yet but seems to be ok. Now that I have used it, the re-set mechanism seems to be a little flaky. Doesn't always like to reset. Shame as otherwise a reasonable trainer. Thus changes from 5 to 4 stars. Will revisit the review after more use.

Great training pen.

I am a nurse and I’ve used this item to teach some of our junior staff how to help a patient administer their own epipen in an emergency. Many had not seen a real epipen and were worried about how these work and the risk of error from use. I’ve seen such a change in thought process and confidence now the team have had a look at what an epipen looks like and have seen how easy they are to use. I would recommend this item to any medical team regardless of grade. Sometimes, refreshing knowledge is key. Great value for money. Extremely realistic.

It is clearly marked as a tested and there is no sharp to worry about. It mimics the self close following administration as well.
