Bought this version, knowing there were other cheaper brands out there, and I don't regret spending the extra at all. During summer months this gets used about once or twice a week, sometimes multiple times a day if it's a big do. Not once has it shown any signs of warping, or scalding. It does it's job perfectly without any issues, gets the coal nice and hot, has a good enough capacity that most bbq's can be fueled by one full chimney. The handle doesn't get that hot when the coal is burning, I still use gloves as a precaution, but you mavericks out there need not worry about burning your hands. My one tiny gripe is that smaller pieces of coal can fall through the bottom grate, good quality coal tends to be slightly larger than cheaper so that's more of fuel issue, but that issue doesn't rear it's head until after you go through the included coal, which is about enough for two bbq's. I've just started layering the bigger piece on the bottom to create a little bed for the smaller pieces and that's helped heaps. This is an easy recommend for me, the metal is good quality and I could easily see this lasting 10 years+ which can't be said for my friends cheaper one, which warped like crazy after 1 summer and forced him to spend more on two than this one alone costs.

Absolutely brilliant, quality as normal from Weber, easy to light, will last, would recommend putting lighter gel on briquettes, they were ready in around 15 minutes, not much smoke, low smell once lit and smoke has stopped, highly recommend

The kit itself contains some quality items, the chimney starter starter works well but is moderately inconvenient if you don't have a good place to put it after dumping out the coals. The coals themselves cooked well and certainly retained their heart for a good long while. The claimed three hours is a bit of a stretch but I comfortably cooked for an hour at which point they were still going, albeit it more slowly. Overall this is a reasonable kit to get you started but it does feel a little expensive for what it is. If I were doing it over I'd skip it and just get the coals.

Aluminium feels sturdy and easy to handle, though the handles do get a bit warm, so gloves are a good idea. Only thing is, it’s a bit bulky to store if you’ve got a tiny shed, but that’s a small price for convenience. If you grill regularly, this is a game-changer – quick, safe, and takes the stress out of starting a fire.

This fire starter is a revelation - few bits of newspaper and fill it with charcoal, set fire to the paper and the briquettes are ready in twenty minutes - bit of a game changer, no messing about with starter liquid or firelighters - works just as well with other briquettes not just the Weber ones - the only thing is I saw Lidls version and it was a lot cheaper but don't mind paying for Weber stuff as its proper quality

Elle reste dehors à l'abri, elle à rouillé mais ne s'est pas perforée vs une cheminée premiers prix achetée par ma sœur qui n'aura durer à peine 2 ans.ir Cette Weber est solide, et je n 'ai pas hésité à commandé ce kit avec briquettes à la marque pour l'offrir ce dimanche à mon papa qui repasse en BBQ à charbon de bois. Le sac de briquettes est inséré dans la cheminée pour le transport. L'ensemble est dans un carton sérigraphié.
