I gotta be honest I bought this out of curiosity when it showed up in my search list, however I am very glad I did so I no longer have to worry about getting my phone wet whilst in the bath changing tracks! Whilst it is a mono speaker the sound quality is very impressive giving a limited stereo sound, with a great balance between the high treble and low bass sounds. The sound quality is that impeccable it beats out my mother’s stereo BT speaker, which only a 5W single speaker to boot!With regards to the battery life I have no complaints, using mine right out the box and getting roughly 9 to ten hours out of it before putting it on charge. Connectivity wise the range advertised is more or less accurate which comes in handy should my phone every need charging, it also connects to my iPhone without issue showing up in the BT list on the phone. The jack input also works flawlessly changing the status light from blue to green.The only and I stress ONLY downside with this thing is the suction cup mount it does not like to stay attached for a long period, the longest I ever had it stay attached to a surface was 30 minutes. However this is not an issue for me as I either use the attached strap or my old tripod.

I have to say, I’ve been very impressed with both the item and the customer experience from the seller. The speaker is a gift for the brother in law, but of course I had to Have a listen before carefully repackaging! I’ve always taken audio quite seriously and like to think I’ve got half an idea of what sounds rich, balanced and involving and what sounds limp, tinny and unexciting. This little Shackjoy speaker punches well above its weight. I wasn’t expecting enough clarity and volume to make it a viable option to take outside, camping/BBQ’s etc but it seems to have enough punch to Make that possible. It feels sturdy and resilient and is simple to set up and control. Don’t worry about the moans about it making anoying noises, the Shackjoy alerts you when it’s pairing, this only happens once and when it’s reached max volume, really not a problem and in no way affects the enjoyment of this great little speaker. As good as units twice the price.

I've had this for a couple of weeks and it's been great. It's nice and loud, the sound quality is good and its robust, I've dropped it from a low height a couple of times with no noticeable effect on it. The loop is useful for hanging it near where you're working to listen to which is just as well as the suction fitting is useless. The day after it arrived I tried to attach it to the shower wall and as I pushed the cam lock over it snapped and fell apart. I was going to return it but decided that I could live without that feature since I can hang it off a hook.

There are several good things about this speaker, it is as hard-wearing as advertised, easy to set up, has excellent battery life and is value for money. However, I purchased this speaker so I could listen to podcasts/audiobooks but cannot because it pops at any type of recording that is just speech without backing music, meaning you lose every other word. You can get around this by playing background music/sounds (rain sounds turned down low works) but this is very frustrating.The product is mostly waterproof, if the actual speaker itself gets waterlogged the sound becomes muffled and pops but absolutely works for shower use. I don't think I would purchase this product again, but am not rushing out to replace it either.

I wasn't looking for a speaker. My friends have had a variety of speakers that die after about 20 minutes, have dodgy connections, or are barely audible. This speaker, however, impressed me so much that I bought it straight away. It's super light and portable. The battery life is insane, I use it everyday and after having it for a couple of weeks, I've only had to charge it once. I haven't tested its waterproof-ness yet. The only downside is that it loses it's connection slightly if blocked or more than roughly 8 metres away but it is still far better than any other battery speaker I've seen.Definitely a product that sells by its quality, no advertising necessary

Really disappointed after my daughter knocked the speaker off a table onto a tile floor and the speaker frontage sheared off. This is the second one I have bought as the first was was such a good gift I got one for myself. Good sound quality and waterproofing but sadly not as durable as they would have is believe.....

SO far so good. Rugged design one major problem was the sucker attachment broke the very first time I used it. I stuck it to a nice clean flat plastic shower surround and it fell off after about 45 seconds and smashed on the floor. The device itself though is very good, nice hook to hang onto shower and good connection, range and volume. No built in radio is a bit of a pain but i'm pleased overall.

Astonishingly good. Packs a lot more welly than I had expect given the size. Decent bass, though it is obviously more about the mids and trebles. Good wifi range and great battery life so far.The waterproofing (and I'd say shockproofing as well) is a great bonus, and the hang strap is a welcome addition. I can't comment on the suction cup thing, as I am using this as an outdoor unit - roll on the summer BBQs!
