New to the crypto currency world and this book has helped me understand blockchains etc Would recommend as a great foundation for beginners new to this, might be a little basic for advanced knowledge

I'm sure there are better books on the subject that cover it in greater detail, but this one stands out in that it helps someone completely new to the idea of a blockchain make sense of it and appreciate its relevance and all the existing hype while at the same time not being overwhelming. I would definitely recommend it to someone who is struggling to find a short, yet broad overview of the blockchain and Bitcoin.

It's a good intro to Bitcoin and Blockchain and gives you real life examples to understand why it's relevant and how it works. If you're looking for a bit more detail or a bit of an understanding to the technical aspects of the blockchain, mining etc... then it's not for you. The writing is not great, it's more of a textbook format and there is a fair bit of repetition. There are errors with punctuation and no attention to detail on the formatting which is a shame. No page numbers either.

Lots to like here, the author has elucidated in clear terms a core understanding of blockchain and how it may/will change our world. I especially appreciated the chapter detailing the downside to blockchain - it's so easy to get wrapped up in the excitable froth of "the next big thing" and miss some key factors to consider. Awarded 4* - knocked off one star as there is a whole page at the beginning and again at the end, stating "please let us know if you spot any typos". Well, sorry, but there are typos on almost every single page; this book has not been proofread. I am happy to do that for the author but at a price, I don't think it right that a book goes to market half-baked and readers then asked to advise any corrections - especially when there are so many.

Great intro to Cryptos. Easy to understand from a non technical point of view. Would recommend to any one wanting to grasp the basics of blockchains.

Easy read and a good pragmatic introduction to the blockchain. Cuts through the hype and acts as a good stepping stone to more technical books.

Excellent book explaining the blockchain for both non-technical and technical people, so if you dont know about the blockchain but want to know get this book.

Book covers the fundamental aspects to blockchain, kind of an introduction to non technical people who are completely new to blockchain. Good short read. Doesnt go deep though and consider it as an introduction only. Explains in simple terms.
