General Pencil Various The Master's Brush Cleaner and Preserver-2.5 oz

I attend various art courses to widen my knowledge/experience and this was recommended to me by a local artist as I was bemoaning the sorry state of my brushes from using a variety of media, such as acrylics, oils etc. I ordered a tub of this the same day and, as soon as it arrived, the following day I sorted out all my stiff and misshapen brushes. Just a dip in warm water, then a swish around the tub and I couldn't believe how much colour came from deep within some of even the cleanest-looking brushes! I have a full set of very clean brushes now - almost like new. This is fabulous stuff!

Excellent cleaner for paint brushes. Using currentlywith acrylic paint. Cleans quickly and thoroughly.Easy to move in between light and dark colours.

This soap is great for cleaning your brushes, it’s not failed me so far.

I’m not keen on having sable brushes but I have a few and this stuff really helps preserve their points - wet the brush, rub it around in this stuff, rinse it and dry it. For synthetic brushes though, you’re good with Fairy Liquid and water.

Brilliant if you are serious about cleaning brushes after painting. I highly recommend it.

Have been told to try this a few times. After years of just waggling the brush in a jar of water i figured id' give it a go.Yep, it works. Cleans hitherto unseen muck from brushes, restored a few i thought were dead.Very easy to use, surprisingly effective.Best of all this pot will last ages as you use hardly any at all.

This item consists of a lathering soap contained in a small plastic tub with a screw top.I use an liquid acrylic paint/ink and thought that I looked after my brushes so I was very surprised at the colour of the water after cleaning them with this soap, It has worked its way deep into my brushes and left them properly clean.I had no idea that this product existed until I started to look for a new brush and read about The Master's Brush Cleaner it in one of the very helpful reviews.I can't be alone, in that I live in a small village near a small town and do not have access to art shops, so I heavily depend upon informative reviews that give in-depth information and others that exchange ideas.

After trying several brush cleaning methods - including leaving my brushes moist after cleaning in a mixture of safflower oil and clove oil - I tried this. Much easier to clean off residual oil paint, and much gentler on my brushes and leaves them nicely shaped for the next painting session.
